I am optimistic, grateful, and life lovin'.

My Self-Summary

My guiding principle is to remember and remind that we are all pure love and creativity at the core, so I look for that in everyone - no matter how they seem at any moment.
I meditate to get centered in the magic!

There is nothing to possess, and no one to own. Being already whole and complete, I can give of myself completely.

Focused intention in the vortex of music, drumming, dance, or nature is the altered state I prefer. (Best shared with a soulful sweet lover...) I am just as happy simply home and cozy as I am wilderness camping, wildly dancing, or traveling to...

I choose to apply my precious life and inspiration to the paradigm shift we are moving through. How about you?

What I’m doing with my life

Finding out how much I can learn about and heal in myself and others.

Assisting the emergence of the beautiful and harmonious world we know is possible. One way I give myself to this is through rites of passage initiation for boys.

My life is about stepping ever farther down the path. There is no "there" to get, rather a greater now to expand into, so it's not the goal-it's the journey.

I have been a carpenter for 25 years. That is now much harder to sustain, so I am a web site designer as well. At last I am developing a business plan fulfilling a dream project that has lived in me for 24 years. It will make a big difference in how people live sustainably on this Planet. If I do not respond instantly, I may be deeply focused on this.

I'm Dad to three extraordinary daughters, two 15 and 16 who are in high school, who I share peacefully with their mom that lives nearby, and another, 24, who is in college.

I love to drum, and play Samba, Afro - Cuban, and free form at classes, events, circles, and parades. I am again practicing with my guitar so I can share all those songs I wrote before I discovered percussion.

I am active in progressive politics. I know way too much to remain silent.

I love to attend and co-create transformational experiences.

I’m really good at

...listening for others to discover their own wisdom, which is there inside all the time.
...being clear about what I feel and why, and communicating.
...shifting the vibe with every one I encounter.
...finding out what I'm really good at!

The first things people usually notice about me

...is that I do not fit the usual categories.
...is that I'm noticing a lot about the deeper you.

I am known to radiate a comforting sense of peacefulness and positivity. I am found to be practical and idealistic at the same time.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I loved Bradbury and Heinlein back in the day. I've been into things about the science/spirit convergence like "The Isaiah Effect" by Greg Braden for awhile. Poetry is so nice, history gets me quickly. I am now in a study group for E-Myth Mastery, a course about how to cultivate the visionary entrepreneurial mind.

I've never owned a TV and I don't see a lot of movies, but I love some of them when I do go. I am so not a sports guy. I would rather push against my own limitations than win a contest. When I work with teams, it is to create what only synergy can.

Music is far more my passion. I am a percussionist, so I get out to most of the lively stuff. The sweet and mellow ones move me too.

As for food-make it organic, please!

The six things I could never do without

The Mystery
Compassion
Patience
Breath
Nature
Music

I spend a lot of time thinking about

...how things are going with our Planet. I check in to notice if my thinking is affirmative or habitual and limited (preferably habitually affirmative)

On a typical Friday night I am

...dancing or deep in conversation or following threads online or driving my kids around or playing my drums or wondering whimsically about you.

It's not particularly important that it is Friday, unless that is when something great is happening.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Do you really want to know? Well, then....

(I kept writing things here, but as soon as I posted them they were no longer private, so I immediately deleted them. There's nothing left about my private life to write. Sorry you missed it!)

You should message me if

...you are ready to discover that the best is yet to come...you are independent yet willing to grow a deep connection...you love wild music just as much as the sound of the sea or a trickle of water in the mountains...if you love who you are and excited about who you are becoming...you sense that this life is an episode in a greater journey, and you want to share it with a strong yet gentle man...
