My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'll get this out of the way first: No, I'm not really a Texan oil tycoon (sorry if my photo mislead you gold diggers out there). But I can speak in a southern accent if you ask nicely. I'm not carrying any pretensions or expectations of an "ideal mate" because c'mon. This is an internet dating site, and you clicked on the photo of a guy dressed like he owns the Dallas Cowboys. Let's all get over ourselves, drop the "I'm too good to respond" antics, relax, have fun and see where this goes. Save your dramatic hopes of finding "the one" at some bookstore or wherever you think your unrealistic Meg Ryan/Tom Hanks movie moment will happen ;)

"Nature is a language, can't you read?"
Good friends & family is what I'm about. Good people seem to be in short supply these days, but I remain optimistic. I like to think I'm a pretty genuine person and try to surround myself with the same.

To be honest I'm not really quite sure what I'm looking for, on here or anywhere for that matter. I have toured the world playing music for the past decade of my life, meeting amazing people. With that, I would consider myself artistic with a side of horror film nerd-ism. My interests also include the production end of music and film, not to mention contributing something positive to society through volunteer work.

That being said, the people I have close to me I consider family. Always looking for new members. I'm very fortunate to have met all the people I have in my life today and If you meet me on a romantic level or a friendship level, you're sure to meet them and would definitely agree.

So when and if I do come across someone, I'm very careful and selective to whom I share my time with. I think it's very important to build a strong friendship before committing and letting lust confuse the situation. I don't want to spend another 5 or more years with someone just because I thought a girl was hot. After all, looks won't be with us forever. It's how you treat people and conduct yourself is what I'm concerned about. Believe me, I do appreciate a beautiful woman, but it really is what's inside that counts. I don't care for drop dead gorgeous. If I see a red flag, I'm running for the hills. I have no time to waste with any BS. It's just not worth it. Like I alluded to before, I'm not an all or nothing guy trying to force a relationship. It takes time to get to know someone. I don't believe you can just jump into a relationship based on pure attraction, it doesn't make any sense. It hasn't worked for me in the past and I don't see it happening in the future. I could be wrong though, but she'll have to make me do back-flips...Back-flips would be nice.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a graphic designer/sound engineer, while also working for Disney. I love the arts, but my real passion is making music. I have been fortunate enough to be able to tour the world playing music, and to this day I am still in disbelief over the things I continue accomplish.
I have written and recorded music for video games (Tony Hawk's Project 8) and television, Discovery Channel specifically.
Building and collecting movie prop replicas is a blast, as I am active in indie film projects.
I love to exercise (P90X) and venture into Disneyland quite often, if only for a churro.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
building movie prop replicas. I once made a full scale proton pack from Ghostbusters.
No joke.

I grew up on horror films and sci-fi culture. Frighteners, The Haunting, House on Haunted Hill, Walking Dead, Tron, John Dies at the End, Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, The 7th Seal, Evil Dead, ReAnimator.
Books I enjoy would be anything by Oscar Wilde, Edgar Allen Poe, and any of the classics. I'm not the biggest fan of contemporary literature, unless its science related.
Television: Dexter, Walking Dead, Doctor Who, Craig Ferguson, and not a whole hell of a lot else.

Food: I love Indian food, thai food, and anything healthy in between.

Music: I love everything from 80's punk to The Smiths, Depeche Mode, Ladytron, Metric. Anything we can sing along to.
The six things I could never do without
