I am 25 years old, creative, and rather unique.

My Self-Summary

My name's Andrew, I'm 25 and have been living in Orlando for the past 5 years. I moved here from south Florida, but I'm originally from Massachusetts. I'm Colombian ...about 5'10 ...I graduated from UCF with a marketing degree about 2 years ago, but after a little over a year in that field I got a really strong urge to do something that could help people (plus I was going insane being pent up in a cubicle all day). I went back to school and also got a job doing business admin. for a physical therapy office. While working there and taking some anatomy & physiology classes I realized I wanted to be a physical therapist, so for the next few years I'll be working towards that.

I'm a pretty laid back guy with a kind of sarcastic sense of humor. My friends and family say I have a huge heart and I guess I've been known to wear it on my sleeve. I'm a very strong believer in karma and treating people the way you'd like to be treated. I LOVE art. If you're an artist and think I'd respect your work you should msg me. Graffiti makes me smile. I've never been religious, but recently I've been getting intoBuddhism. I love the idea of turning any negative experience into a positive outcome. I think everything happens for a reason, getting through rough times makes you a stronger person. Politically I'm very liberal, conservatives and republicans tend to annoy me. I'm also VERY intomusicand love todance, specifically a style called popping (it can be a little difficult to describe, but if you want to see what I'm talking about here ya go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqDgpAYcjj8 ...I'm the second guy) I really can't imagine my life without music and dancing. I'd like to find more friends that have the same passion and appreciation for it. Music, and dancing in particular, have probably saved my life, they kept me out of a lot of trouble while I was living around Miami and Ft.Lauderdale. Over the recent years I've been competing and teaching for fun. ...and no, I don't like any of those dance shows on TV or any of those dance movies! They make real street dancers and b-boys look soft. ...but enough about that. Besides music and dancing I really like to travel. I've been known to fly off for a couple of days at the drop of hat if I get the major need for a change in scenery (Red Light specials on Spirit Airlines kick ass).

What I’m doing with my life

I'm currently working as a massage therapist. I finished up massage therapy school about a month ago and just got my license. I'm anxious to get started, I gotta keep saving for grad school! ...I'm also taking a few college classes that i need to complete before I can apply to grad schools. I plan on getting my master's and doctorate in physical therapy and there are just a few more science classes I need to knock out. ...I also give dance lessons to a few students I've managed to pick up over the last few years.

I’m really good at

...keeping dance floors funky : P

...drawing, although I don't get around to it nearly as much I as I used to, I wanted to be a cartoonist for a long time so I still have a lot of fun drawing cartoons.

...getting lost. I have a horrible sense of direction, but it tends to work in my favor. I've met some really cool people while trying to find my way around different cities.

The first things people usually notice about me

Hmm ...not really sure. You never really know how you look through someone else's eyes.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I listen to a lot of different styles of music, just depends what kind of mood I'm in. I listen to a lot of chilled out lounge type of stuff, electro, breaks, funk, electro-funk, old-skool hip hop, dub step, some drum&bass, and I also still listen to a lot of the punk bands I was into when I was in high school. A few of my favorite bands are Thievery Corporation, The Glitch Mob, Minus the Bear, Death Cab, and Pennywise.

Some of my favorite movies are Shawshank Redemption, Snatch, Almost Famous, Fight Club, Big Fish, What Dreams May Come, Into the Wild, Romeo & Juliet, Eternal Sunshine, Anchor Man, Clerks, Mall Rats. ...and my favorite TV shows are The Office and 30 Rock.

...and if I have to pick one favorite food it'd probably be cheese steaks, I love those things!

The six things I could never do without

Music is def. #1.
I also can't go a day without dancing for at least a few minutes.
My cat.
Sunshine ...I love just laying around at the beach or by the pool.
Yoga ...if i go more than a few days without stretching I feel weird.
...and cheese steaks

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Different travel spots I need to hit up, I probably spend way too much time day dreaming about future trips. ...I eventually want to spend a year just traveling around the world. ...but my next international trip is def. to Paris!

On a typical Friday night I am

Having a good time.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

If I told everyone here than it wouldn't really be very private would it?

You should message me if

...you think you're a bit weird (but in a good way). ...I also like girls that are smarter than me, a sharp girl with a good sense of humor always keeps my attention.
