My Self-Summary

Why is this the first thing that you have to fill out? Can anyone really summarize their life, wants, personality in less than 5000 characters? From what I see, most can. I just try to have a great sense of humor about things- life's too short not to laugh, especially at yourself!

What I’m doing with my life

Being dad to two wonderful girls here with me (4 total- other 2 are grown and on their own). They keep me plenty busy. I coach basketball- travel ball in the spring. Work for the government- tax dollars well spent, IMO! :-)

I’m really good at

That's something I never really thought about. How about these, for starters: Annoying my cats. Texting while driving. Paper football. Losing socks. If I happen to think of anything else, I'll include it.

The first things people usually notice about me

"You smile a lot. You must be up to something." Ahhh, if you only knew...

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books- don't read as often as I should, but on those occasions that I do, it's almost always non-fiction.

Movies- don't watch a lot of them, but I think "The Blues Brothers" is the best movie I've seen. Ever.

Music- I'll go with genres. Classic rock, Classic R&B and Metal. 80's. I'm reluctant to name specific groups, because I may leave some group out who deserves to be on my list.

Food- I love seafood. Growing up in Southern Maryland, you either loved seafood or you were allergic to it. Gotta pay a little extra in WV, but it's worth it. Mostly good ole American food. And Italian, Chinese, and Mexican.

The six things I could never do without

Well, of course I could survive without them, but then life would really suck!
Cellphone (no more landline for me!)
Cat litter (very important if you have indoor cats)
Bottled water (tap water- yuck! Am I a little spoiled- you betcha!)
Car (because walking anywhere in WV stinks)
Hot water (hot showers are better that cold ones)
HDTV (can't watch regular TV anymore)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Practice plans for Basketball (my coaching season starts in March). If I think of something, I'll write it down. Not on my hand, though. And that's during the day. Already have 3 pages of gibberish.

On a typical Friday night I am

Lately on Fridays I have been at high school sporting events, football in fall, basketball in winter.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I love chocolate chip cookie dough! Not the most private thing, but you know me a bit better now, don't you?

You should message me if

At any point while reading this, you smiled. Or raised one eyebrow. Or both at the same time.
