My self-summary
I grew up as the introverted kid who played with his legos, video games and not many friends; so I greatly treasure the friends I have. I'm a bit of a perfectionist. (the healthy kind, I swear!) It shows when I'm at work, whenever I'm doing anything I'm greatly interested in and always strive to improve. My favorite quote is: "I will not forgive mediocrity"

I like to be physically active and enjoy the outdoors. (assuming decent weather - I hate the cold!) Though I generally keep my thoughts to myself, I'm a big nerd at heart... be careful when I go on about something I love/hate!

I'm also an art lover. Creative writing, music, traditional drawings/paintings etc. Who doesn't like to look at beautiful imagery?
What I’m doing with my life
Living. Currently working as a line cook. My attention to detail is generally appreciated there, which is nice. :) Cooking just happened to be a nice niche for my inner perfectionist.

I'm trying to figure out what I'd like to do as a career - there are a ton of things I'd LOVE to do, including learning to play the violin, learning new languages and travel a little... but, it's best I focus on things that will help me with my future. As hard as it can be to get paid for something you enjoy doing... time stops for no one.
I’m really good at
sleeping in, eating lots, making faces...
I'm kidding! >_>

I never really think of myself as being 'really good' at anything - because as they say "You're your own worst critic."
If I had to name a few real things I'd say:
thinking outside the box, drawing, general attention to detail and listening. Some friends of mine are surprised I remember some of the small things they may have mentioned a long time ago.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm quiet and hard to read.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I think the only book I've read that wasn't a class assignment was The Catcher in the Rye. Sadly, I don't remember it too well but do remember enjoying it! >_>
As for movies...so many favorites! I'll just name some genres I enjoy to keep it concise: comedies, sci fi, fantasy, adventure, action, drama, and of course Disney movies. (I just named like almost every genre...)

Shows: I'll be frank, I do watch anime. More so nowadays in the search of a great story, fun/interesting characters and (hopefully) beautiful art. In terms of more western shows The Simpsons is a big one for me. oh so much love.

I love music, there's no two ways about it. I appreciate classical music, and especially meaningful music. The Red Hot Chilli Peppers is definitely my favorite band. If it sounds good to me, I'll like it. I'd like to say I'm eclectic.

I also love food. Food is good.
The six things I could never do without
in no particular order:
friends, internet, a creative outlet, housing, music, plumbing.

The last one may seem odd... but that's because after I came back from visiting my mom's hometown in the Philippines, I never took flushing toilets and actual plumbing for granted again. >_>
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What to do! I want to do this, I want to do that, and before I noticed I wasted tons of time not doing anything... just like trying to find something to watch on Netflix.

I also have a couple side projects I work on for fun, I'm creating a nerdy board game to play, I'm 'making' a video game.
(read these as: jotting down ideas in notepad/character and story design/more creative outlets)

Improving to be better at things I do. At work, for example I'll try to find ways to increase efficiency and minimize downtime/back tracking. In terms of drawing, remembering how/which motion I did a certain stroke with that looks nice and to do again.
On a typical Friday night I am
working, sadly. I generally work weekends and get the midweek off. Those busy weekend nights at restaurants!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I play World of Warcraft. shhhh!
