I recently moved back to my hometown Omaha after a year spent living across the world in New Zealand. I figured this would be a good way to quickly rebuild my social circle and maybe meet someone special along the way. Plus I enjoy screening people I've never met. Admit it, you like it too!

Obviously travel is a huge passion of mine. There's not much that can compare to the rush of setting foot in a brand new country. If you enjoy travel too, then you've already earned 3 points in my book (calm down, it takes 50 to earn a date). I'm taking a dance class in an attempt to upgrade my dance skills from "downright pathetic" to "passable". If you know of any classes in Omaha that sub-50 year olds attend, please let me know!

Yoga has become a permanent part of my life. I started taking classes in late 2012 and now I attend at least 5 classes every week. I don't want to gush too much about it and sound like some freak, but I think it's such a great practice for bettering yourself physically/spiritually/emotionally/mentally. There isn't anyone I know personally who I wouldn't recommend yoga to.

Writing online dating profiles, probably not something to be overly proud of though.

Eyes, quick wit, or smile

I like all different types of movies and music with no regard for what's "cool" or "manly". I'll gladly watch a RomCom if it's well made, Midnight in Paris was probably my favorite movie I saw in a theater in 2012. Good Will Hunting, Braveheart, and Borat are some other favorites.

As far as music, I'll let Pandora answer this one. It's telling me that my top 5 radio stations began with the artist/songs of 1. Lenka "The Show" 2. Zedd (electrohouse DJ) 3. Steel Pulse "Roller Skates (awesome reggae group) 4. Led Zeppelin and 5. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Normally I prefer music that is uptempo and uplifting.

I haven't read fiction in awhile, I mostly read stuff that I think can better me in some way or is thought provoking. Favorite authors include Eckhart Tolle, Richard Dawkins, Brad Warner, and Alan Watts.

how not to spend so much time thinking.

The only thing consistent about my Friday nights is their inconsistency. I think it's kinda boring having the same routine (like let's meet at Bar X at 9:30), so I like to switch it up by going to shows, concerts, sporting events, clubs, bars, nearby cities, etc.

My ideal woman would be aged 20-32 or 48 (my lucky number). Really though, I wouldn't say I have a "type", some of the most fun and interesting people I've met are the ones you might least expect, so why limit yourself? So if you've read this far then feel free to send a message...or just send a wink and let me do all the work.
