My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Well, you found him, the best single guy in all of Manhattan: Smart, handsome, well-traveled, compassionate, and hilarious... What are you waiting for?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a soccer-playing chemist with a Boston terrier and a penchant for whimsy. I try to give a few hours each month to a variety of charities, and I've recently taken an interest in running (the best way to justify early Saturday afternoon drinking).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Dodging questions about what I'm good at. Honestly, just about everything, but I'm probably best at modesty.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My strong masculine personality, piercing blue eyes, and tall stature. Oh, and I smell like fresh baked bread, all the time.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I like all kinds of food, but I think Vietnamese is leading the race right now (there is this grilled lemongrass pork chop served over broken rice that tastes like heaven). I watch Archer, 30 Rock, The Wire, or the Walking Dead if I'm around, but I never let TV get in the way of living my life.
I love live music, I am fortunate to have a few friends in a few bands, and I try to get out and see them as much as I can. I prefer a small show in a bar over a larger act at a larger venue.
I read quite a bit, I take the subway, so I have time each day to devote to a book, I'll read nearly anything, but I love Kerouac and Salinger...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) My dog
2) My friends
3) Soccer and/or running
4) Thumbs, they separate us from the beasts.
5) Laughter, the best kind being at somebody else's expense, of course...
6) Siracha (which I may have misspelled).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Sometimes I wonder what my dog is thinking about... I leave the house every weekday for 8-10 hours and I only bring food home once or twice a month, he must think I am a really crappy hunter...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing soccer at Chelsea Waterside Park, then grabbing a few beers afterwards on 23rd St.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like to remain a bit mysterious.
