I really need to rewrite this.

I'm a shy and quiet guy at first, but once I get to know you I open up and love to joke around. I lived in Seattle, Washington in the U.S. for a few years and loved it; I visit as often as I can as I still have friends and family over there. Whilst I was over there I began to play baseball, which I continued to play after I moved back with a small team in Guildford, Surrey. Went to college in Epsom and started Uni in Sheffield (Hallam) in 2010.

I am enjoying life and looking forward to whatever happens :)

I really like Terry Pratchett's books; I've read the whole Discworld series. Recently I've been working my way through the Song of Ice and Fire series by George R R Martin; I can't wait for the last books to come out! The TV series (Game of Thrones) is also pretty incredible.

I like a wide selection of films, but my favourites are comedies. The film I've watched the most times over the years is Office Space (my friends and I can quote almost the entire film :P). I have recently discovered Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog and cannot stop watching it; it is amazing. I also like Sci-Fi/Fantasy films (as you might have figured out by my username) like Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and Flash Gordon. Terrible horror films also hold a place in my heart.

As I mentioned above, I've been watching the Game of Thrones series and am eagerly awaiting the new episodes. Some of my favourite shows are from HBO, like Boardwalk Empire, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Flight of the Conchords. I also enjoy animated shows like Adventure Time, South Park and Futurama. Pretty much anything but teen dramas and reality shows.

I also listen to a wide variety of music. I've recently discovered a love for Mastodon and Die Antwoord, 2 very different styles of music but both equally fun. Constant favourites have been Radiohead, Modest Mouse, Queens of the Stoneage and a few others. I don't listen to current radio tracks but do enjoy the occasional pop song.
