I have a place of my own and pay the bills every month. I am much more of a cat person than a dog person because I appreciate independence and being a little reserved(maybe a little introverted) but that does not mean that I don't enjoy being social. I have a lot of great friends that I love dearly. I am very close to my family as well, and my parents are most important. They have been my model of unconditional love in life.
I am pretty normal and I enjoy pretty normal things. Movies, games, music, walks and exploring, exercising, hiking, sports, travel, the city, the mountains...you get it lol.
Other more different things that interest me are psychology, philosophy, spirituality, etc. I am interested but I am also a giant skeptic.
I do have a great sense of humor(or so I would like to think!). It is the subtle things in life that I notice the most and make me laugh. I do not get bent out of shape very easily. I like to spend time with people who are fun and take life easy.
On a less serious note, I am pretty good at and really enjoy playing games. I have a bit of a friendly competitive streak in me, but I stress "friendly"! I am hardly obnoxious about it. Well, maybe a little when it is called for... :)
I love board games, card games, video games, sports, skeeball...you name it! I was the kid who got dropped off at Funspot for his birthday with ten dollars worth of quarters and I was absolutely in HEAVEN!
So if we happen to meet and are struggling at first for things to talk about, a little mini golf or air hockey or pool (even though I am horrible) could help to break the ice...
And perhaps maybe that I am a little quiet and not a gabber...but see above, we can remedy that quickly. Lets have a couple drinks, get me going on a topic of interest and...well...I may not shut up.
While I am not a HUGE reader, I like to read anything that I find fascinating, empowering, and enlightening...or just plain fun like A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson about two terribly out of shape 40 some year olds hiking the Appalacian Trail.
As far as food goes I am not picky at all. I love regular, seafood(some types anyway), Chinese(well what we Americans call Chinese lol), Mexican...but the way to my heart is really Italian...
I mean throw in any cliche here for things to do on a Friday or Saturday night. I am incredibly easy. If there is good company does it honestly matter much?
I play the saxophone and god would I love to play in a band someday...Ok not really a PRIVATE thing but...pretty personal.
