I'm just living life and trying to enjoy everything that comes my way. Whether outdoors or inside by the fire, I know how to have a good time. I tend to be a bit brainy and at times I am a complete nerd but I have a phenomenal sense of humor. I love intelligence and people that keep me on my toes.

What I’m doing with my life

After a distinguished military career, I am going to school to become a pediatrician. As always, no matter how old you are there are things I discover about myself everyday. I'm stoked to see just how far down the rabbit hole goes.

I’m really good at

Making people laugh. Even in times of sadness there is something to be said about the therapeutic properties of laughter. I also have an eidetic memory which tends to give me an advantage in a lot of things up to and including arguments = )
I'm a great hugger too!

The first things people usually notice about me

My dark hair, blue eyes contrast. Apparently it isn't as common as I thought it was. I've also been told I have strong eyebrows...good I guess?

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Favorite authors include Clive Barker, Chuck Palahniuk, and Carl Hiaasen.

Movies are good in different forms and I'm really a fan of good film making as opposed to an individual movie.

I also have a wide array of musical tastes that include everything except Rap, Country, and Emo.

I typically eat healthy but we all have vices right?

The six things I could never do without

My sanity, my sense of humor, my cat, my ambition, my true friends, and my passion for life.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How the world became filled with so many people that lack the smallest shred of intellectual capacity. I also reflect on where I've been and where I want to be. The journey is often more memorable than the destination.

Why isn't common sense common?

On a typical Friday night I am

Hanging out with my roommate or talking with the neighbors about life, the universe, and everything. Either that or letting my roommates girlfriend doll me up. I figure if she gets a kick out of it then that's fine by me.

I'm harder on myself than anyone else could ever be.
