My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a person of unusual character. With a mix between casual and formal, I continue to amaze myself and everybody I come into contact with.

I have high hopes and high dreams. I don't want to lose hold of my dreams in exchange for living a comfortable life. Sometimes that means that I have to live in situations that are not socially the best but I have been surviving so far.

This is who I am and I welcome you into my life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently in the military.

Specifically the National Guard. I have an 8 year contract.

However I am have papers being reviewed to transfer to go full time in the regular army.

I have a few side projects but that's pretty much it for now.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
One of my well developed traits is that of understanding. Many people say that "oh you will never understand what I go through" and while that may be true for some it is not for me. It's not that I have gone and done the same thing but I understand the concepts behind it and that has given me a large quantity of empathy to draw from. I try to reach out to people that are obviously in pain and suffering about some situation in life and I try to relate with them on a one on one basis to help them settle their issues.

And above all of this, my sense to dream and make those dreams a reality is my best skill. I try to not imagine things that I can not do and I focus on things i can do. At some points this can be hard and frustrating but slowly and surely I have managed to surpass the normalcy of society. This trait alone has put me at great odds with some powerful people while I have been living my life, however, combined with my patience, I have usually worked out some sort of compromise to get the job done.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If you were to meet me somewhere you would think I was that serious guy that you see all the time. I have that ability to camouflage into my surroundings. But if I was sitting down and got up, that would change to an exclamation at how tall I am.

Once people get to talking to me, most people have noticed that while I do have a cheerful and even light hearted nature, my seriousness does have time to shine as well. I tend to shock people with my insights about life and the way that I express myself seems to be a strong plus to many.

One of my friends wanted me to mention that i have a sense of vagueness around me. It's not something I notice because I feel like I speak and act very clearly but my friends all swear that sometimes I can come off as unreachable. I suppose that those might be the moments when I have a concept that I feel but have no words for. It's like going past all the things you know and reaching into the dark and pulling something new to say out of what seems to be thin air.

books:
The Abhorsen trilogy by Garth Nix,
The Collected Works by Kahlil Gibran,
Paulo Coelho's works,
and the Eragon series by Christopher Paolini

These have been among the higher listings of books that I have read, but rest assured that there are plenty more books that I have read over the years that have had high remarks in my mind.

movies: Wanted, The Matrix, The Fountain, The Day After Tomorrow, Look for the Nines, and The Book of Eli (to name a few)

music: Unfortunately there is too much music that I like. I would invite you to spend a day with me if you want to know more about what kind of music I like.

Also as a compromise, every day I will post a youtube link to one of the thousands of songs I have and you can listen and maybe we can talk about the song. Today's song:

food: I am not a picky eater, and if you have some recipe that you want to have a test subject for, I will gladly be that person. however i love things that have hidden flavors in them, things that are aromatic and full of life. Along with that, I enjoy a balance, so among the top of my favorites, I have a strong appreciation for Korean and Japanese flavors and style of eating.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1)Courage

2) Intuition and love (i see those two as one)

3) My understanding of how things work

4)My ability to challenge the social norms and try to find my own path in life.

5)The people in life that I have run into and the experiences that I have had with them.

6) My passion to the things that I apply myself to.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Lately I have been thinking about that special somebody that I would like to be with. Spent some time worrying about when I was going to finally go active duty....that proved to be pointless. (why worry right?)

Over all the brain thoughts, I have been wondering what is beyond harmony and the pairs of things that I have born witness to.I wonder if I might be able to experience it. Can I try to sense this new found ______?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well, I am not sure I would call it private, however I tend to do my homework consistently when it comes to the opposite sex. I made it a habit to make sure I didn't become a stereotypical guy that doesn't know anything about women. So anything from clothes to typical psychological problems, I tend to have at least a small understanding and if I don't, I am more than willing to learn about it. Has made me the "best friend" many times over....

I really have to just be honest here. I don't need some clingy girl that can't handle herself. A strong women that knows what she wants and doesn't mind asking for help when its appropriate.

It's a major plus, if she knows moderation in all things in life.

I am not going to lie, I like to challenge women when I first start speaking to them. So if your shy at heart but can stand me and come to come out of your shell, then kudos to you.

To some of you this might seem intimidating or off putting. I am deeply sorry to hear that. Really I am. I simply don't have time to get in relationships that I know will not work. I would rather not hurt you or myself in participating in a delusion.

But that doesn't mean that i need a women that is all business and no play. Like I said, moderation in all things. So if you can meet these requirements, then by all means, hit me up. Even if you feel like you don't but you think you have something to say in a positive critique, I would appreciate it.
