My self-summary
Once again into the intro-writing abyss. If I thought about it dialectically, I would probably find that I'm made out of pulled pork or something.

I am microscopic, toxic, and eating your dinner
What I’m doing with my life
I am giving back to my world, in Amnesty International. Good works are good. I'm trying to drive out the Bush regime because the World Can't Wait. If you run a vet school, you could admit me.
The first things people usually notice about me
I think people feel weird around me. At least, I think they act weird around me. If they look at my face, they see my eyelashes and the color of my eyes. If they're really sharp, they notice my teeth.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
a) they simply swallowed everything, and what they swallowed did them no harm, because it left no residue behind, just as a grain of corn will pass undigested through the body of a bird.

b) the end? katharine ross has just married this really cool guy - tall, blond, incredibly popular, the make-out king of his fraternity in berkeley - when this obnoxious dustin hoffman character shows up at the back of the church, acting like a total asshole. "elaine! elaine!" does katharine ross tell dustin hoffman, "get lost, creep. i'm a married woman"? no. she runs off with him - on a bus. that is the reality.

c) helium baloon i once held ... / i never knew you could fly so high / i'm sorry now / sunflower

d) [he] regards recipes the way jazz musicians see their musical scores as frameworks for improvisation.
The six things I could never do without
My puppy (Della), the cinema, progressive politics, and good food, and two other things.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My pup, the Future, the Past, the songs in my head, girls I don't yet know, girls who used to kiss me but stopped doing that, crazy business plans, becoming a hermit, whether the fascist direction our country is going is reversible. Um, I think about things I recently read...

I'm wondering if I'll ever be happy. A friend of mine says that he thinks I'll be wondering that for the rest of my life.

I also think about how easy it is to quit smoking and whether I should go into business helping people quit like the guy who wrote the book I read.
On a typical Friday night I am
These days? Playing with the pup and hanging out at home. I don't know many people in Atlanta, but I sometimes go out with the ones I do know.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I will need to revisit this question.

You should message me if
You want answers to questions and I might be able to help, or if you think I might be interesting to have a drink with, or if you feel you know how to fix my life, or if you like Macs and you want to learn how to program them, or if you want to drive out the Bush regime.
