I'm fun and outgoing looking for someone interested in the same. I grew up nearby but still feel like an outsider since coming back after so long. Hoping to meet someone special!

Just left the military and now I'm going back to get my MBA at Yale and then off to the business world. I have a number of goals I am committed to and I would love to have someone come along for the ride.

I think most athletic endeavors I pick up pretty easy. I also think I'm an easy person to talk to; someone who shows respect regardless. I pride myself on keeping an open mind and I think people value that in me.

Hey, so I had to add something more fun so here goes - kissing is an artform that is VERY important to me. So...I think I'm pretty good at it.

My eyes. Not just what's behind them but that they'll look straight back and not wander timidly or disrespectfully. I carry my ambition and drive in my eyes and I think it comes across immediately.

I've read most Steven Pressfield novels - he writes in an interesting genre called historical fiction. My favorite was The Virtues of War where he tells a fictional story about Alexander The Great. I also enjoy Malcolm Gladwell's works too. His anecdotal style makes it a lot of fun.

I enjoy movies. Period. Any genre, and from any age, has something to offer. However, horror is one class that I tend to avoid. I'm an 80s baby so some of my favorites are the Tom Cruise gems from that era - Top Gun, Cocktail, Risky Business, Taps. Jerry Maguire is a favorite too. I'm also a sucker for common classics like the Godfather movies. Tarantino's films never leave me wanting. Nor do the Pixar films. See, I like all types ;)

Since I got back to school, I cut out the biggest distraction I usually succumb to which is T.V. I'm not up on a lot of shows although I have been following The Walking Dead. Other than that, I'm more of a movie guy.

I can appreciate all music. No real deal-breakers as far as I'm concerned. It's always fun getting exposed to a new talented artist.

Ah, food - my favorite. I think the art of cuisine is an honorable and worthwhile endeavor. Apparently a great grandfather of mine was a chef to a prince in Italy and that talent seems to be passed down through the men in my family. We enjoy cooking and take a lot of pride in it.

Lately? Sadly, not a whole lot. I just finished going through a pretty demanding recruiting process that had me in the city most Fridays so by the time I got back home I would be pretty exhausted. Although I grew up nearby, I'm new to the area since getting out of the military and most of my friends moved on so my options are limited. Although, I have a couple close friends / family I hang out with. I guess my boring Fridays are part of the problem I'm trying to fix with this site ;)

When I was 16, I suffered what the doctors called a 'one in a billion' injury that probably should have killed me. I dodged a bullet and have tried to live life with no regrets ever since.
