My Self-Summary
I'm an aspiring game developer. Video games are my passion and admire the artistry and mathematical/logical skills that go into creating them. I enjoy most types of art, particularly visual art created with computers.
I enjoy playing tennis quite often with friends (although anyone that plays tennis regularly could probably beat me).
I enjoy a night in more than a night out (as I'm a bit introverted). Also, I tend to be more social in small groups rather than huge parties.
I'm low-drama, and always have been. Also, you'd have to do a LOT to get me angry. I get along with just about anybody.
People generally consider me a very stable guy. I'm somewhat of a romantic (moreso that most guys). I also consider myself more empathetic than most guys.
XKCD is always relevant.
Self-summarized in about 151 brilliant words, or so OKC tells me.
What I’m doing with my life
I’m really good at
I tend to be a pretty good team leader/collaborator. I seem to be good at bringing ideas together and seeing the big picture.
A few people have said I'm a decent singer, but I'm not sure how true that is.
Some have also said I'm good at empathizing, but I don't want to definitively say that I'm awesome at it or anything.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Brain Droppings by George Carlin
I Am America And So Can You by Stephen Colbert
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (whole series)
MOVIES: Many comedies, like Austin Powers, Ace Ventura, Rat Race, Office Space, etc, but I also like a bunch of other movies scattered across all genres, like The Matrix, Signs, Corpse Bride, Shrek, Pirates of the Carribean, Nightmare Before Christmas, Star Wars (all of them), Wall-e, Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog, and a ton more that I can't think of at the moment. I even like the occasional romantic comedy.
MUSIC: Instead of listing out a million bands, I'll just send you here: http://www.last.fm/user/Viridescent/library
FOOD: I'll try anything at least once. Italian is always good (<3 ravioli). BBQ ribs are delicious. French toast is awesome when I'm up early enough to eat breakfast, haha. I also totally love banana cream pie (especially if it has a graham cracker crust) :D
The six things I could never do without
2) My computer/the interwebz
3) Video games
4) the arts
5) Great people to collaborate with
6) Irony
I spend a lot of time thinking about
* How I can improve myself
* When I'll find that special someone
* What games I should get next
* Where I'll be 3 months from now
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
You should message me if
* you consider video games to be art
* it's exactly 11:11 (AM or PM) right now =D
