My self-summary
I'm in the process of redoing my profile, so most sections are empty for now. Sorry :3
What I’m doing with my life
At this point, desperately trying to figure out what the hell I am doing with my life, really. I'm not quite sure where to go from this point, but I will figure it out I'm sure.
I’m really good at
Ah so this is where I advertise my good traits or something, cool. Let's see ...

- Being calm, in any situation.
- I seem to have a way with animals, as most seem to really like me.
- I suppose I'm good at listening/giving advice or something along those lines. Or at least that's what my friends say.
- I'm really good at logical things, and just generally figuring stuff out.
- I'm also rather good at video games, though I'm not sure if this is useful in any way :P
The first things people usually notice about me
Well I asked my friend and she said "You have red hair, and you're tall as fuck, and you're quiet", so I'm just to go with that one then :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books:
Reading books is a bit of a hassle for me, because I much prefer reading books in English than in Dutch so I have to generally order my books online from the UK, which can get a little pricey.

My favorite book does happen to be a Dutch one though, Het Meisje uit de Jungle by Patrick Lagrou, though I also immensely enjoyed Under The Dome by Stephen King. I've recently read Knife and Rebel, now I just need to get my hands on the hird book in that series because it's pretty fun. And I've also been re-reading my Nausicaa manga, because I freaking love Nausicaa. So much.

Movies:
If I had to list all of my favorite movies, this list would be much too long, so I'll just list some random ones off the top of my head. I have many many more favorite movies than this ;)

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain, The Red Violin, Look Both Ways, Schindler's List, Seven Pounds, Temple Grandin, Better than Chocolate, Love Actually, Departures

Shows:
I don't watch a whole lot of live action series, though I have been pretty invested in Doctor Who as of late. :) This is a pretty short list, and is really about all I've watched/am watching. There are a bunch more on my to-watch list though, but I don't know if I like those yet ;)

Doctor Who, Heroes, Once Upon a Time, Charmed, Taken, Sliders, Big Bang Theory

Anime:
I used to watch more anime than I do nowadays, but I do still greatly enjoy it. I've seen quite a bit of anime and pretty much loved all of them (with few exceptions, of course), so as with the movies, here's a kind of random selection of stuff that I liked.

Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, Nana, Last Exile, Loveless, Azumanga Daioh, Cardcaptor Sakura, Chobits, Ergo Proxy, Fairy Tail, Fruits Basket, Great Teacher Onizuka, Da Capo, Patapata Hikousen no Bouken, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Scrapped Princess, Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad

Music:
I'm a massive fan of Steam Powered Giraffe. I love every single thing that they do and will fangirl over them like there's no tomorrow. so be prepared for that :P

That being said, I do actually listen to much more music than just that, in a large variety of genres. I'd say my favorite genres would be Jrock, Jazz, and the more old fashioned pop (I'd say 50's-80's or so, with a few great songs in the 90's and almost none after 2000 :P)

More particularly, I like Melody Gardot, The Cranberries, Exist Trace and some Alice Nine. Those seem to be the ones with the highest playcounts in my music program.

Food:
Anything Asian is simply awesome. To date I haven't had a single Asian meal that I didn't like. I also really love anything Mediterranean and Mexican. :)
Aside from that, I'm not exactly fond of meat, and I suppose I'm kind of semi-vegetarian ... but I wouldn't refuse meat if it was prepared to me, and there are a few kinds that I do like (I love chicken and fish, for example).

Games:
I used to play way way more games than I do now, and have picked up quite a big list of favorites over the years. Nowadays though, I pretty much seem to play only Dark Souls, Team Fortress 2 and the occasional indie game that I beat in like a day.

Anyway, my favorites: Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Secret of Evermore, Illusion of Time (Gaia for the US), Dark Souls, Bastion, Legend of Dragoon, Half Life, Portal
The six things I could never do without
- My best friends - I wouldn't know what to do without them.
- The internet - as it's currently my only way to communicate with my best friends.
- Being a rebel and listing fewer things than asked. ;)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm transgender. I'm sorry if this bothers you, but feel free to carry on browsing through other profiles if it does. :)
