My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
When faced with this blank and not knowing what to write, I submitted my problem to a group of friends in hopes of some inspiration.

In lieu of some autobiographical nonsense we'll probably clear up on our first date anyway, I submit for your enjoyment their response.

Born of the top circus performers in Siberia, Andrew was soon left to grow up in a household of nymphs, with a pet cuttlefish the only companion he could really trust.

Because the sting of his parents' abandonment, Andrew was not like normal children. He did not run away to join the circus, but instead to join the New York stock exchange. Over the years, he became a rather successful insider trader.

However, after the fall of Enron, Andrew was forced off the grid. He disappeared to Indonesia for the majority of the first decade of the 21st century. In his time, he became proficient in fire-breathing and walking on hot coals.

He has only recently resurfaced in Seattle, Washington and is finally working on fulfilling his dream of returning to his long-lost circus roots and becoming Seattle U's first alum to become a bearded mermaid.

So since now you know that my friends are slightly insane, let me tell you about me.

THINGS I AM : Fiercely loyal and protective, considerate, respectful, I do my best to be an honorable person while still maintaining a dark sense of humor, spontaneous and independent. I love exploring anything anywhere, and I'm always game for trying new food, cultures, and experiences, like going to a Hindu worship service on a whim, getting lost on back roads on a gorgeous day, or just simply sitting on a dock and watching the water be water.

THINGS I AM NOT: abusive, shallow, emotionally fragile, emotionally unavailable, callous, inconsiderate, afraid of commitment, lacking in personality, ignorant, oblivious, or selfish. I am absolutely not looking to get laid, take advantage of anyone or leech off of someone.

If you've made it through my attempt at sufficiently describing myself in a few lines, Thanks! I'd love to hear from you.

PS.... must like tattoos. parts of me are covered. :)

Books: I love anything by Bill Bryson. I read a lot of research for work, but when I'm not doong tha, I like to read mostly nonfiction.
movies: favorite movie is Revolver, but I love almost every movie I've ever seen. It's a great medium
Shows: I don't watch that much tv, but when I do, its Game of Thrones, Newsradio, Southland, Sons of Anarchy, Newsroom and Mad Men. I'm a huge West Wing/Sorkin fan....
Radio: I love radio, but I'd rather be on the air than listening to it. Luckily I found spotify and now my life is better

Music: everything. Menomena, kendrick, radiohead, boat, etc.I have a special place in my heart for a jazz trio, and will shake my damn ass at a live Dj set. I love going to see friends' bands play, and I love going to a band that I've never heard of before. Join me!

Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
There is no such thing as a normal Friday night for me. Could be at a show, out to dinner, veg-ing with Netflix, incredible dinner, night frisbee, sudden road trip....

- Real men paint their toesies, cry at sad parts in movies, and don't apologize for either. As such, I qualify as a real man.

You can laugh at almost anything, love to be spontaneous and want a good, honorable man who is absolutely not afraid of commitment, but remains incredibly mischeivous
