I'm a bit reserved when you first meet me, though once you get beyond that, I'll talk on any subject. I have both a silly and serious side, being comfortable debating philosophy/politics/whatever one minute, watching South Park or goofing off the next.

Books: Mostly classics, some sci-fi/fantasy. Some favorites are The Iliad, The Odyssey, Lord of the Rings, Tale of Two Cities, The Moon is a Harsh Mistress, 1984, Siddhartha, Demian, The Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn.

Movies: I like silly or serious, depending on my mood. Some favorites are Shawshank Redemption, Magnolia, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, The Dark Knight, It's a Wonderful Life, Raiders Of The Lost Ark, Office Space, Fight Club.

Music: I can appreciate most types, with my leanings generally in the area of rock/blues. Some favorites are Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, U2, Old Metallica, Muse, Morphine.

Food: I'm not too picky, though I love carbs in particular (rice, pasta, bread), Indian, seafood, Thai, etc. I'd love to try new things.
