I'm 26 years old and living in Center City. I started a band here in Philly a year ago, so lately I've been spending the majority of my free time writing songs. We've started to play out in the city and are getting ready to record our first album which I'm ridiculously excited about. For a living I'm an aerospace engineer (hopefully in the meantime).

I ended up taking two cross country drives to Seattle on a temporary assignment last year though, and it was great getting to wake up at a different National Park or in a different city each day. Every winter I make sure to go skiing a lot, and every day I either go running or go to the gym. I love to play basketball, but really anything in general. When I like something I invest myself in it completely - I'm usually the first person there and the last person to leave.

I am a bit shy and tend to be quiet initially around people I don't know very well, but once I start getting to know someone I start opening up easily.

Music - I'm the biggest Smashing Pumpkins / Billy Corgan fan on the planet. Some of my other favorites are Modest Mouse, The Afghan Whigs / Twilight Singers, Elliott Smith, Alice in Chains, Radiohead, Queens of the Stone Age, Kyuss, Built to Spill, Burning Brides, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, The Beatles, The Flaming Lips, Counting Crows, Sublime, Stone Temple Pilots, Silversun Pickups, Neil Young, Arcade Fire, Death Cab for Cutie, Jimmy Eat World, TV on the Radio, Brand New, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Eels, At The Drive In, Neutral Milk Hotel, Alkaline Trio, etc. The list goes on and on.

TV - The Wire, LOST, Beavis and Butthead, Seinfeld, Arrested Development, the earlier seasons of the Simpsons, The Office, Six Feet Under, Upright Citizens Brigade, Kids in the Hall, and a whole lot more.

Food - I eat a ton of oatmeal. It's really exciting. But in general Italian food is my favorite.
