My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
You know how they say that there's never a first chance to make a second impression? Wait, strike that, reverse it.

Yeah, so I'm Punk_Jr. World traveler, Radio Production Director, aspiring voice actor, Amazing Race hopeful and multi-genre geek galore.

I've lived in Seattle for almost 15 years. It's the first place that has felt like "home" for me. I grew up as an Air Force brat, moving every three years. I joined the Navy after high school & now continue that tradition by moving within the city every few years.

I love Rick and Morty, going to see movies, playing Destiny or Mass Effect (again), singing karaoke & waiting in line for books or movies to be released.

I am geeky, driven, and content
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I started out as an intern for the Andy Savage Show back when 96.5 was K-Rock... Now I'm the Imaging & Creative Services Director for 96.5 Jack-FM!

I get to make the station sound great, every day.

I'm very determined to make a living with my voice, and this step is exactly where I want to be. It's so fun to be doing something that I'm really passionate about.

I am a gigantic roller derby fan... I host a weekly podcast where we talk about derby around the world! You can listen to us at!

I love football, and the Seahawks are poised to kill it again this year!

I'm an unabashed geek. I love Star Wars & Pacific Rim. I have a huge passion for movies and love seeing them on the big screen, but I also really enjoy crashing out & playing the XBone or 360.

Sci-Fi tends to own me, so I am often found watching Agents of SHIELD, Sherlock, Doctor Who or the new superhero shows like The Flash & Arrow.

Recently, I have really started to enjoy all of the tabletop games that have exploded. I watch Wil Wheaton's YouTube show TableTop every Thursday & always want to try everything they feature.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Public speaking, whiteboard heckling at roller derby games, keeping my friends out of trouble and being the guy you come to when you need help with anything.

I also make a REALLY good grilled cheese sandwich and amazing Mac and Cheese.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm really tall & I've always got a grin.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - The Count of Monte Cristo, the Jack Reacher books, The Harry Potter Series, anything by Stephen King, James Patterson & the occasional "For Dummies" instructional guide.
I'm currently rereading Ender's Game, the Hunger Games series, the Song of Ice & Fire Series & "Ready, Player One."

Movies - There are SO many... Star Wars, Pacific Rim, Pirates of the Caribbean, the Harry Potter movies, Hunger Games series, Christopher Nolan movies, Donnie Darko & Equilibrium are just a few. I love the standard guy trio: action, mystery & thrillers... Also, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the best thing in theaters right now. I saw The Winter Soldier & Guardians of the Galaxy FIVE times each, then went to the Nerdist Marvel marathon down in Hollywood for the Age of Ultron premier.

Also, Mad Max: Fury Road blew my mind.

Music - If I could only listen to one band for the rest of my life, it would be AC/DC, but since I don't have to worry about that right now, I'll also take a little of the following:

Stevie Wonder, Marilyn Manson, NIN, Duran Duran, INXS, Gwen Stefani, Metallica, The Beatles, Tom Petty & Queen. Working at a radio station is probably the best thing for me, since I can listen to just about anything I want to...

Food - My single favorite food item is a good Mac & Cheese, followed closely by a good spaghetti carbonara. However, since eating the same thing all the time gets REALLY boring, I like to spice it up with anything Italian, a little Mexican, Thai, Chinese, Sushi, and the Burger King Whopper™... *laugh*
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A good library of beats & sound effects for my production work

my Android

my lucky safety-pin

my N7 hoodie

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Pirates. I'm a HUGE pirate fanatic. September 19th is one of my favorite days of the year! I've had recurring dreams about pirates ever since I was in 2nd grade. The dreams themselves are always different, but the one constant is the sails of the pirate ship. Red & white vertical stripes every time.

I really wish there was an In-N-Out in Seattle.

Also, whatever book I'm reading, what movies are coming out this weekend, what will I do this weekend, who I'm going to hang out with, what I need to do at work tomorrow, The usual stuff.

The idea behind "Fuck Yes or No" intrigues me. I love it, because I want that in my life. Not only in my relationships, but in everything, if I can manage.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It's so varied. My friends and I like to go to Bathtub Gin or the Unicorn to drink & hang out, but I'm also always up for a good karaoke night or chilling at home playing video games. If a good movie is opening up, I'm often found waiting in line out at the Cinerama or Boeing IMAX Theater.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I lost my virginity in a tree stand overlooking a field in Germany with hikers walking below us.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over. think Pirates are better than Ninjas; you laugh out loud at Rick and Morty, Bob's Burgers, Archer, or Kyle Kinane.

Send me a message, that would be rad.
