I am quirky, obscure, and cantankerous.

My Self-Summary

Apparently I'm supposed to write an essay about me. Well, considering that I just did this to take the little tests, I'm at a loss for words right now. Of course, that doesn't come as a big surprise. As much as I can be a chatterbox at times, I think it's generally better if I'm blending into the background and absorbing the situation that I'm in rather than being the life of the party. Don't get me wrong, I have my moments-- sometimes it's good to be the center of attention, but that occasional 15 seconds of fame suits me just fine.

Interestingly enough... since the last time I logged on, they made me take the "intro" test over again for whatever reason and I evolved (or maybe devolved) into the Boy Next Door from whatever I was before... I don't know whether that's good or bad. Of course, I'm still with Lisa, so it doesn't really matter, does it?

What I’m doing with my life

Working... attempting to pay off loans, you know the drill. Attempting to improve the quality of my life.

**EDIT** OK, I suppose after 3/4 of a year living in Rhode Island, taking a pay cut, and wondering if mooching off of my GF was worth it, it finally paid off. I finally got myself a non-temp agency job again with a better salary than I had as of this year's RCB (of you don't know what that stands for, don't worry about it). Now I get to finally start paying my half of the rent again, something that I've had insufficient funds to do since September. That is... if we wanted to have anything to EAT in this house, anyway.

I’m really good at

Being the proverbial 5th wheel. It's fun sometimes. I also play the banjo, but I suppose I shouldn't have mentioned that here, since I'm supposed to be really GOOD at it.

The first things people usually notice about me

Good question. I usually get the feeling that people see me (or read something like this) and they think that they have me all figured out already... and then they term this affliction "shyness."

Never trust a first impression.

The six things I could never do without

The Internet, friends, family, food, fun, philosophy

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I think Nicholas Cage said it best when he said "There are two people I trust. One of them is me, the other'sn not you." Bear in mind that by the end of Con Air, he changed his mind on that subject.

On a typical Friday night I am

What do YOU do on a typical Friday night? I'm probably doing that.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

My name is an anagram for "Banjo Easily."

I mooched off of my GF for four months while she waited with godly patience for me to get a real job instead of the $10/hour position I was working through a temp agency. I'll announce here thaqt I was honestly trying to do so. You can believe me or not believe me, and I don't care either way.

Oh, and I haven't picked up my banjo or tuba since I moved. Too busy.

You should message me if

...you understand right here and right now that what you see is what you get. I'm no longer going to apologize for being who I am.
