Hm...what to say about myself. I'm 33, have a decent career, and have been told I have a witty sense of humour.

I can be quite shy at first, but once I get comfortable, I am silly, quirky, and playful. I'm devoted, honest, intelligent, inquisitive, and love a good conversation.

I'm into computers, and I love video games (both playing, and watching my partner play...it's like interactive TV!). I love a good dinner and movie, and enjoy snuggling in front of the TV. I love long drives & exploring new places with my special someone. I prefer hoodies over evening gowns, and don't care what car you drive, as long as I don't have to worry that the rusty bottom will fall out on the 401. And if it might, how about I drive? I knit and crochet in my spare time, so you'll never experience a shortage of blankets, heh.

I find intelligence and common sense incredibly sexy, and want someone who not only loves to learn new things, but can teach me new things too. I have a strange fascination with geekiness (especially computer geekiness!). I'm looking for someone who has a good sense of humour, a kind heart, and a good work ethic. It's an added bonus if he finds my shyness a cute quirk.

I don't like plastic people, I don't like a guy that primps more than I do, and I'm not big on self-primping, either. If you spend 4 hours admiring yourself in the mirror, you're not for me. If you're old enough to be my father, you're also not the one for me, but I'd be happy to introduce you to my parents' single friends.

I'm looking for something that has potential to be serious. I'm not a fan of flings or short-term relationships. I want children, and a man to share my life with, but won't jump at the first thing that comes my way.

I'm into a variety of music, from electronic to shoegazer, canadian indie to "alternative" rock. My favourite TV shows are Stargate SG1 and Battlestar Galactica, and my favourite author is currently Asimov.
