Where to start? It's a pretty tiny box to summarise so much, but I'll give it a go. I'm born and bred in Birmingham, although thankfully I don't have the accent having spent time at uni down south. I live on the fashionable side of Birmingham, if there is such a thing!

Friends have described me as confident, intelligent and articulate with a dry sense of humour. I love long, involved debates with friends, preferably over a drink or two, as well as relaxing at home with a book.

I took up martial arts about 2 years ago and since then I've managed to keep myself in shape. I discovered the gym about 8 months ago and I'm currently in training to do a run for charity.

I would like to meet someone confident and easygoing, who knows what they want in life and isn't afraid to take risks. If you're just at home in a trendy wine bar as in a crowded gig, enjoy conversations about politics, civil liberties and how much better children's TV was in the 80s then I'd love to hear from you!

Working as a lawyer, which has moments of being really dull and moments of being way too interesting. Other than that I'm training in European martial arts and going clubbing, particularly in Leicester and Nottingham but also London, Sheffield and Leeds.

I enjoy public speaking, dancing and I'm pretty good at hauling my ass out of the door to go for some exercise.

Apparently it's my eyes, which change colour between green and blue, although I've no idea why.

a) Cryptonomicon by Neal Stepheson, the collected poems of Phillip Larkin and Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu;

b) Pi, American Beauty, the original Starwars Trilogy, Fight Club, Donnie Darko, Brazil, Spirited Away and Mirrormask which everyone must watch RIGHT NOW;

c) I'm in to lots of electro and dance music and end up travelling all round the country to go to clubs and gigs.

d) lots and lots of healthsome stuff. I'm not a veggie, but I certainly eat a lot less meat stuff than I used to.

My music collection, my book collection, eyes and ears to appreciate them, legs to go dancing with, clubs to dance in and friends to dance with!
