My self-summary
-Last edit 2/9/2010-

Tag 5 interests with brackets on your profile to get to 100%. Damn my need for completion of objectives.

I'm back to working on the no-smoking bit. I've come to the realization that when I'm around smokers, I smoke. When I'm not, I don't. That being said, I have one left in this pack that I've had for two weeks now....guess how many smokers I've been around?

I'm a mix of standard concepts. I'm a drug-free, long-haired hippy. I'm a 6'2, 113 kg(that's 250 lb for the States folks) vegetarian(have to love that corn-fed upbringing). I've recently gotten into kick-boxing and used to be an active SCA fighter, but I'm a pacifist. I grew up in the boondocks, but have never fired a gun on an animal. I come from a military brat family(Air Force mostly), but have no interest in serving myself. I listen to a lot of country, but generally have an attraction to punk/rocker lifestyles. I've never labeled myself solidly because I don't think it's possible to summarize myself that easily.

I am hippy-ish, laid back, and a meat popsicle

What I’m doing with my life
I'm a student at Ivy Tech Community College going for a degree in Computer Information Systems with a focus on Programming(C/C++/C# and Java). I'm mostly getting the degree for personal growth. I recently folded my home business due to some personal turmoil crap with an old roommate. So at the moment I'm classified as a professional student. Honestly, I don't understand the professional student thing as I can't figure out how a professional student pays the bills. Translated out to layman's terms, that means seeking employment while putting one hell of a dent in my savings.

In the future I'm looking to get some screenplays sold, though I'm leaning toward possibly producing them myself. There's a lot of joy in the idea of fully walking out a creative concept of that scale from literal start to finish, but it's one hell of an intimidating concept. I recently found out a director I worked with last year has shelved the idea of a sequel, but we start filming another movie on the 21st of February. The part I was offered....what else...the computer hacker. Le'sigh...damn type-casting.

Music
I'm not even going to bother making a list. I have a serious love of music in all its forms. The only type of music I can't tolerate is hardcore ghetto gangster rap. I'll go to any concert I can make the time and cash for. Last year that was Brad Paisley, Rascall Flatts, Crue Fest, and a lot of local music at the bars. This year I'm hoping to make a few more big budget shows and a lot more bar nights.

My tastes in food are pretty basic. Indianapolis pretty much blows as a vegetarian scene. There's a few Thai and Indian restaurants. But, that's really it. So I end up doing a LOT of cooking. I'm not really passionate about food by any means. In fact when I get busy I tend to "forget" to eat for days sometimes. Meh..

Comedians
I love to laugh and will get out to Crackers any time I know a good act is coming.
-Gabriel Iglesias
-Mitch Hedberg
-Eddie Izzard
-Pablo Francisco
-Dane Cook
-Demitri Martin
-George Carlin
-Early Bill Cosby(before he went coo-coo for Jello)
-Lewis Black
-Jeff Dunham

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I was a camp counselor, a group of 5 us male counselors did "Bye, Bye, Bye" by N'Sync for a camp talent show. Those pictures shall never see the light of day. No, seriously, they won't.
