Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a guy who's into science, mostly physics and space stuff but I
have a soft spot for evolutionary biology. Related to this I adore
science-fiction and fantasy. Mostly the science-fiction part but I
love me some Game of Thrones.
I am somewhat nerdy and geeky, sometimes perhaps more than
"somewhat". I like going to comic-con here in Winnipeg and looking
at all the costumes, I have yet to find the courage to wear one
I have a life-long love affair with books. I love reading and I
especially love reading an actual book. E-books just aren't the
same but since you can take a hundred of them with you their
convenience is hard to beat. I realize that is a run on sentence
but I have no idea how to make it better.
I want to travel, just don't have the funds for or time for the
kind of trips I'd like to take. I'd love to see Zion National Park
in Utah, the Smithsonian, Provence in France, the Alps, Japan, love
B.C as well.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm going through the motions of becoming a MRT, or x-ray
technician as most people will know what that is. Currently that
fills my most of my time but I am looking for work in the future.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
After two years with the city I'm really good with a weed whacker.
I'm not half bad at picking up litter either! In more general terms
I think I am good at painting those little plastic models, it's so
much fun. I think I'm good at playing the Bass Clarinet, but I
haven't played it in years so I'm probably wrong on that one eh?
I'm also really good at randomly applying song lyrics to my

I'd like to think that it's my good looks and devilish charm.
Perhaps it's that they find my recent joke funny, perhaps they
thought it sucked. Either way they notice me. I don't think I had a
point there, why don't you tell me what you notice first?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I have too many favorite books to list them all. Some of my recent
favorites are Pandora's Star and its sequel Judas Unchained by
Peter F. Hamilton. Some of my old favorites are The Hobbit and the
Conqueror's Trilogy by Timothy Zahn.
For music I love all kinds, normally songs rather than artists. I
like almost everything they play on CBC Radio 2 "The Drive" and
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I think I'm adaptable enough that I could do without a lot of
things that aren't strictly necessary for life to continue. That
being said I would much rather never do without: books, music,
electricity, hot running water, pizza and pastries.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life, the Universe and Everything. I keep getting 39 so I must be
doing something wrong.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depends on the Friday and the time. Friday night at 11:59, probably
in bed most of the time. But in general I hang at home or get
together with friends. The usual.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I can't swim, I have some medical problems, I think many
unfavourable things about the Harper government, it took me two
weeks to re-write this profile. Just what do you want here OkCupid?
Oh I am also a hopeless romantic. Give me a good love story or song
or anything and I will be happy beyond words. I am also painfully
aware that I need better pictures of myself on here.

If any of the above intrigues you, or you're bored or mostly if you
want to have a good time. I deliver the goods on that one!
