Hola! They call me Michelle and I hail from Indiana. I used to barely make my living on the internets at a publishing company which has absolutely everything to do with the degrees in English and History I graduated with a few years ago. But now I've put those degrees to good use by fleeing to Scotland for a year to get a Masters in history. That's done now so I'm in Austin, just cause I can.

I'm a total history nerd with a soupcon of other nerdly (it's a word!) pursuits. I can usually be found reading, but it may not be readily apparent since I do most of my reading on my tablet. There is also a fair bit of playing of the Angry Birds.

In addition to the reading and writing (no 'rithmetic though) I play roller derby for a league up in Round Rock.
