Hello there! I'm not terribly interesting. I like to write sometimes, but I never finish a story.

I was raised all over the place, since I am an Army brat. I love this country, and I don't think the government is out to get me. That could just be my upbringing brainwashing me, but it's the way I feel.

I have (technically) two cats, but there are three other cats and four dogs who also live in the same house as me. It's very, very noisy here from sun-up until sun-down.

By some kind of coincidence, my birthstone is Amethyst and my favorite color is purple. Which is also the color I almost dyed my hair. I'm glad that I didn't. It would look strange when I grew it out.

I am a very girly tomboy. I love to wear dresses and curl my hair, but I also love camping and hiking out in the middle of nowhere. If I'm camping/hiking, I won't wear a dress, though.

I like to think that I'm a sensible person, and that I"m pretty passive and non-confrontational. I often get scolded for apologizing too much, and it's hard for me to be a bitch (Which is a good thing, I believe).

I'm working part time at a grocery store. I ice donuts and package bread. It's as exciting as it sounds. Oh, and I work with a soft-serve ice cream machine named "The Beast".

One day I'd like to be an elementary school teacher, and I'm hoping to start classes this year. I probably won't because I'm pretty talented at slacking off.

And I'm in a very serious relationship. So serious, it's like something that Herman Melville would write. Not like Nabokov, who actually had a pretty strange sense of humor.

Spelling things correctly. And making a complete idiot out of myself.

They notice my brown eyes. Or my big nose, depending on the person. Also, I'm pretty withdrawn, but every now and then I feel the urge to break out of my shell and dance around a store.

Book: Ender's Shadow

Movie: The Lion King.

Music: I am actually really into classical lately. And this band that no one else has ever heard of, CrownVict. They sound a little bit like Blindside and Deftones. Moreso Blindside (Can you believe they're christian? And swedish?).

Food: Lasagna, and enchiladas. I think I would do just about anything for chicken enchiladas.

I spend way too much time thinking about different plots (Which I never get around to writing), and story ideas that stem from my more vivid dreams. I think I would be pretty good at writing in the horror genre, or making movies in that area... Some of my dreams are really screwed up.

Which is all very strange, because I rarely watch scary movies.

Right here on Okcupid, usually. Or I'm across the room and playing Fallout 3. It took me a while to get the hang of a first-person shooter (I'm usually a sword-wielding RPGer), but now I'm pretty much addicted to it.

I have a big scar from back surgery. It's oogly. You won't see it.

I sort of like it though. It's like a tattoo, and it's pretty damn unique because they went in through my side to do my back surgery (Every other spinal surgery picture I've seen, they cut along the spine).

Also, it reminds me not to look down on others just because of their physical appearance, because I used to look pretty damn weird.
