Couple Key Points:
- I have a daughter. I love her very much and she is my top priority without exception. If you can't handle or understand this, we won't work out

- If you live on your phone and can't go a couple minutes without having to check it, we probably won't work out.

I'm Kevin and am extremely laid back and carefree. It takes an awful lot to get under my skin or offend me. I love to make people smile and laugh. In general, I prefer quieter activities that are more intimate over large crowds and noisy places. Not to say I won't be involved (I do go to Ren Faire after all), I just prefer quieter things.

Every summer I try to get out on hikes. I love being out in the woods and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. These will vary from short little local trails to the longer day hikes out in the Adirondacks. I also head out to the Sterling Ren Faire every year.

After spending some time talking with one of my female friends about her marriage, I've decided that I want to adopt her view of a relationship: it should be transparent. This means that everything gets shared and there are no secrets. Any friends I have or meet, my significant other can meet and talk with to get to know them. The same would hold true in reverse. There should be trust in a relationship, but there should also be open communication.

Being the busy worker drone sitting at a desk. Starting to debate working towards a new career path, something a bit more exciting . . . mid-life crisis already?

Providing comfort to others. I also seem to have a knack for judging people's intentions, so long as it's not towards me. Been right a multiple times now when others denied it. And sometimes it takes a bit for the true intentions to be shown. Guess I'm a good observer and pick up on the subtle body language hints.

Balancing time with my daughter and still getting in my games. Eventually I'm hoping the games will be replaced by time with a significant other.

Probably that I'm a short, soulless ginger. But you know what, we gingers can get a soul if we want one. All we have to do is go down to our local Kia dealership. Plus I've heard that for every freckle on our face is a soul we've already claimed.

Books: Myth series by Robert Asprin, The Bard's Tale by Mercedes Lackey, and the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

The majority of my movie watching these days is random things that have been recommended by Netflix. But I'm fairly open to watching just about anything.

I'll listen to just about anything other than rap. The top genres are symphonic metal and gothic metal. A few top bands: Sirenia, UnSun, Xandria, The Birthday Massacre, Indica, Within Temptation, and Nemesea.

I seemed to have skipped Shows . . . Adventure Time, Fringe, Bones, Bleach, Impractical Jokers, Face Off, Hell's Kitchen, Family Guy, Walking Dead, Archer, Mythbusters. Think those are the ones I have setup to record these days. Feel free to drop me suggestions of things you'd think I'd enjoy, kind of how I got hooked on Bones.

I enjoy trying out new foods and am still dying to get a chance at some Thai. The only type I don't like is seafood.

My daughter's future, this includes the good things and the bad things . . .

Oh, and why there isn't more Flame Princess. This bothers me.

Finally getting in some "me" time by staying up late. During the work week there isn't much time for this. You could say I've grown to really appreciate time to just sit back and relax.

I'm a big nerd. Okay, so not very private given I talk about Ren Faire and have pictures of me dressed for it.

I have a bad habit of looking over a profile, liking what I read and see, but not sending a message. Not sure why I do that. Perhaps it's related to the next paragraph stuff.

I can be very shy at first. But once I warm up and get comfy I've been told I'm rather entertaining, nice, and fun to be around. So looking for someone to help keep me out of my shell.

You think we have something in common or I seem interesting to you. Really, everyone is welcomed to send me messages, even if it's just to find someone to talk with.

Just so you know, it'll probably be at least 6 months before you'd get to meet the little one. I want to keep her safe and not have people in and out of her life. I need to really make sure you'll be good for her and me.
