I am laid back, carefree, and geeky.

My Self-Summary

Okay...about me… I’m a fairly quiet person until you get to know me, and then I tend to open up a bit more & become a silly, relaxed individual. I’m not really into the bar scene, and would feel more comfortable hanging out someplace like a coffee shop, Barnes & Noble, or at home watching DVDs and playing video games.

I’m kinda geeky, and a bit of a technophile...you will rarely find me without my laptop and/or other gadgetry. Oh…and I’m a Mac. I haven’t really used Windows for a few years other than when I needed to for work.

Not really sure what I'm looking for at this point, but open to whatever happens...

What I’m doing with my life

I recently graduated from Binghamton University with my Bachelor’s in Human Development. It took me about 11 years and three colleges to finally get done, but I feel like I have learned more about life in the process than if I had merely finished in four years after high school.

I work for a health-related non-profit agency, and really enjoy my work. I help run a drop-in community center, which is a lot of fun, other than the required paperwork. I’m certainly not getting rich, but I get by for the most part...and am generally enjoying life .

Someday I hope to move to & work in Philadelphia...gosh I love Philly.

I’m really good at

I would like think that I’m good at a variety of different things - coming up with creative, eye-catching posters & quarter-sheets to advertise for events. I also have redesigned websites & maintained them. I think these things have been made possible by my ADD - I have multiple creative outlets with which to put my active brain to use.

The first things people usually notice about me

I previously felt that it might be my eyes - they have a habit of changing on a somewhat daily basis from anywhere between a golden-brown to bright green. On occasion they seem to be a swampwater greenish brown. Or maybe it's the glasses that frame said eyes…

I think it might be, as it has been referred to, my “juicy boo-tay,” although it might be my well-developed calves.

On the other hand, it might be my ADD...

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books - Although I haven’t done a much reading in a while, I really enjoy sci-fi & fantasy, including books by Douglas Adams - Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Dirk Gently's Detective Agency, Long Dark Tea Time of the Soul; Terry Brooks - Magic Kingdom For Sale - Sold!, The Black Unicorn, Wizard at Large, The Tangle Box, and Witches’ Brew. I also enjoy conspiracy novels, and am almost ashamed to admit to reading novels by Dan Brown - Angels and Demons, The da Vinci Code, and Deception Point.

Movies - This is a tough one. I’d have to say the genres I’m most interested in are Science Fiction, some Action, and older Comedies (we’re talking Danny Kaye, Marx Bros., and Bob Hope in the Road To movies. A few of the films I have really enjoyed inclued HHGTTG, The Princess Bride, Good Night and Good Luck, Monty Python's Holy Grail, and Lilo & Stitch.

Television - Honestly, I don’t really watch that much television. The few programs I watch are either British programs, such as Doctor Who and Torchwood (featuring John Barrowman & Gareth David-Lloyd who are quite the hotties, IMO). A few other shows I have gotten into include LOST, Ugly Betty, Weeds, Stargate SG-1 & Stargate Atlantis, and MST3K.

Music - I have a wide appreciation of music, and it’s easier to share the genres I don’t care for instead of saying what I like. Honestly, I don’t care for most country music. I think that’s pretty much it. Polka is fine, I’m really into mash-ups, but some specific groups I enjoy are: The B-52's, The Cliks, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, Arrogant Worms, Sneaker Pimps, MC Lars & MC Frontalot and the whole genre of nerdcore in general.

Food - I’ve been a vegetarian for approximately the last 8 years, vegan for about 6 of those...however I’ve started to eat a few things with small amounts of dairy & eggs in the last 6-8 months. Some of my must-haves include: soy ice cream, cheese-less pizza, pasta (one of my weaknesses), rice pilaf, meatless meatballs. I also love going out for ethnic food - Japanese, Thai, Indina/Pakistani...however for some reason I just can’t get into Korean.

The six things I could never do without

Not in any particular order:

My MacBook
Hi-speed Internet
My Cellphone
Friends (including my adorable little minpin)
My Motorcycle
Thai Food

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Life, the universe, and everything... Also the possibility of moving to Philly.

On a typical Friday night I am

No Friday night is typical...however for the most part I’m either going out, working, or chilling at home.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

To be perfectly honest, I'm not terribly interested in dating straight or gay individuals - that's not to say that I'm completely disinterested if I meet the right gal or guy. It’s just that I have been burned too many times by guys who think I’m not “gay enough” or girls who just want to be my fag hag & make me part of their collection of gays. So really, I’m much more interested in getting together with other bi/queer folks.

You should message me if

You're a bi/pan-gal/guy/gq individual who's interested in getting to know me better...

If you're looking for someone to co-sleep with - having a cuddle buddy rocks...

If you see something in my profile that interests you, and have an overwhelming desire to chat about it...

Also - I'm gonna go ahead and put it out there - I'm not really looking for a serious partner at this time.
