Good news everyone, the following self-summary is entirely disjointed but remains brief for your sanity. I wear bowties; bowties are cool. I bake, frequently—the last go round was peanut butter brownie trifle, chocolate chip cookies two ways and brownies with cookie dough frosting. I always have at least one book with me. Combining these two, I read cookbooks (as put by a friend of mine) "like a book," from one end to the other. I seem to have gone on an alliterative kick so I'll just pile on with "bantering." I will debate pretty much anything for sport and delight a bit (ok, more than a bit) in playing the Devil's advocate. Favored topics include: politics, ethics, metaphysics, religion, the Oxford comma and the designated hitter rule (that's a lie, I know nothing about the designated hitter rule). This summary has evidently been brought to you by the letter "B".

I've been described—repeatedly—as a mix of an eight-year old boy and an eighty-five year old man. On any given day, it's six-to-five and pick 'em which one is in charge.

I recently finished law school so now I'm getting ready to study for the bar and doing the job hunt thing.

Somehow I became one of those active people so when I manage to break out of school, I'm running half marathons without really training (then limping for a couple days) and trying to figure which big event will be next, STP or Ironman Lake Stevens are current candidates.

Asking questions, board games, baking, bartending, getting customer service personnel to do what I want done, being analytical, fixing computers and math (yes, I enjoy math). Also, my former roommate has called me, more than once, "finder of all things on the internet."

That I call people 'sir,' 'ma'am' and 'miss.' It may sound old fashioned but manners have always been important to me. Also, I have trouble remembering names so this can be a lifesaver.

Books (in no specific order): Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom (Cory Doctorow), Ready Player One (Ernie Cline), Stranger in a Strange Land (Heinlein), Sandman (Gaiman), Demon Haunted World (Sagan) and In Defense of Food (Pollan). Also, lots of cookbooks, especially those by Michael Ruhlman and Julia Child. Not a book but still read pretty much daily, Wikipedia.

Movies: I watch all kinds of random stuff from teen girl movies (27 Dresses, Grey Matters) to Oscar picks (Silver Linings Playbook) to scifi (Serenity) to Disney (WALL-E, Wreck-It Ralph).

TV Shows: Anything by Joss Whedon, Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who, Grey's Anatomy (don't judge me), Mad Men, West Wing, ER, Community and Once Upon a Time.

Music: I listen to a little bit of everything though I may sing along—poorly mind you—with showtunes rather frequently. I'm also on a bit of a celtic kick at the moment.

Food: Dessert (brownies, cookies, cupcakes &c), good sourdough bread and Eggs Benedict.
