I am a current PhD student in archaeology which kind of takes over my life, although I do try and step outside of it as much as possible.

I love to dance, and I am willing to learn anything! I've been trained in ballet, Irish Step dancing, jazz, tap and hip-hop throughout my life. I also enjoy singing, playing the violin and piano, and performing in musicals. I did try art school but failed miserably after attempting to master drawing still life's of bottles... oopsies.

Currently in my 2nd year of my PhD, hopefully to be handed in in 2011. I love my research, and really hope to get a job in academia or in museum curatorship... although I wouldn't turn down a movie consultant!

I enjoy a good laugh and love to make others laugh! I try my best to always have a smile on my face and make sure others are happy. Hence, this comes out in my love of colour, flowers, anything bright really! I like to believe that anything is possible, and one day, it will be proven by science. Originally from America, I am an Irish-American, and very proud of my Irish heritage.

I am very easy going, and am always willing to try new adventures! WHile I can be demure, I have well... dramatic actions am very excitable! And....I giggle a lot I am old fashioned in a sense, and love good manners.

hopeless romantics, musicals, Fred Astaire, sarcasm, humour, wit, chocolate, good manners,travel, Christmas time, Phantom of the Opera, camels, wine, going to the theatre, going to museums, gothic architecture, art especially the Impressionists, period dramas, smoked salmon, cheesy movies, rainy days, basset hounds, snow... these are all things I enjoy (but not all!) :)

PhD-ing my way through adulthood! Have never ha a 'real' job before, just been in school my whole life!

Besides that, traveling home whenever I can to see my family/friends in America, going on random archaeological adventures throughout Europe, dancing, cooking, and trying everything under the sun!

I really love my friends but don't really have the opportunity to meet new people, especially men, hence.. here I am!

movies: star wars, the new star trek movie, pride and prejudice, dracula, bringing up baby, anything with fred astaire, indiana jones, mona lisa smile...

also, like Fraiser, Star Trek: TNG, Bones, X-Files, FAMILY GUY and CSI

food's easy: everything minus pineapple

music?: wellll i admit it.. i like pop. oh yeah. and lots of it. like to sing out really loud while driving down the motorway...it keeps me and others entertained (though maybe not in the same fashion).. musicals, soundtracks, celtic, and classical

time to tweak this a bit I dare say...

my laptop with its desktop accessible Fraiser DVD collection, my jane austen collection, a witty conversation, elegance/class, dogs, chocolate

romance, the paranormal (yes, yes), my future, fun things to do with my friends, new countries to visit

I do have very strong feeling about several subjects... but I also can think about very random things!

I think in pictures - they're quite vivid too, dare I say!

it depends really on the week... several options...

1) RELAX with a good book and tea, maybe a movie
2) hang out with my friends - usually dinner and a movie
3) coerced into going out
4) cocktail night!!! a favorite of mine :)
