Okay, so here's the deal. I'm super dorky and more then a little awkward and shy. So if my messages read as such, please don't think it's anything to do with you.

Also, I'm only on here a few times a week, so if I don't message you back immediately, please don't take offense, it's not that I'm not interested or trying to be rude, I just haven't seen the message yet.

Right now I'm going to school to get my criminal justice degree. When I graduate, I plan on becoming a police officer. I also work as a nanny/babysitter.

Writing. I love to write. Mostly I write short stories, but also the occasional poem. It's mostly horror/fantasy, but I write some sci-fi stuff as well.

Physically? My hair if I haven't straightened it that day. After that? My old lady glasses. I like them big so I don't have to strain, my eyes are pretty bad.

My personality? How awkward I am at first. I can barely string two sentences together when I first meet people. But when I finally get to know you, I will gab at you like no tomorrow, about any subject I can think of.

I love anything by Stephen King, James Patterson, Neil Gaimen, Ursala Le Guin and Tamora Pierce. Horror, fantasy, and mystery are my favorite genres. I like the kind of books that make everything around me fade away and pull me completely into the story. I have a tendency to read books I like over and over and over again.
I like most kinds of music, but I mostly listen to classic rock, Queen, Guns and Roses, Journey, ect. I also really love the Beatles and David Bowie.
Lately I've been listening to a lot of country, mostly classic (Johny Cash, Kenny Rogers, ect) I've also been listening to a lot of Christian Kane lately, LOVE his music.
I've been listening to a lot of blues lately as well. Blue grass too.

My current favorite TV show that I just can't get enough of lately is Leverage. It's an AWESOME show. Also, The Walking Dead. I love that show. I have recently started watching Supernatural as well and am really starting to get into it.

I'm also a huge fan of Joss Whedon. Buffy, Angel, Firefly, these are some of my favorite shows.

I'm a huge horror nerd. I love horror movies, not so much gore-fest type movies, but creepy psychological thriller. Though there is nothing wrong with a good slasher movie.

My books, my notebook, my music, decent food (meaning stuff that tastes good, life's to short to eat crappy food), my comfortable sandals, and the internet.

My stories that I'm writing. Or my school work.

At home, reading a book or watching a movie. Sometimes I go out, but I'm not really a club or party every weekend kind of person. It's not that I don't like clubs/parties, it's just that I rarely have the money or energy or inclination to get there and enjoy myself.

I have a tendency to over think things and be a bit overenthusiastic about some things.
