My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
One of these days (not exactly sure when that day will be), I will have it in me to create a more epic profile than I have currently. It will be extraordinarily exciting, so prepare yourself both emotionally and psychologically.

Creating a "self-summary" is difficult...It's a little daunting thinking how I would begin to combine twenty six years of life into a few paragraphs. Being a human is pretty multi-faceted, and fairly hard to condense down to paragraph form.

Here are two juicy nuggets of information for you in the meantime:
- I was a philosophy major, and am fascinated with examining the realm of cognition.
- I've been on kind of a Diablo III kick since around March, it's like a time sucking vortex.

Follow-up: It recently occurred to me that it has been about 3-4 months since that initial paragraph was written, and I actually haven't edited my profile much (as initially promised. My apologies, I'm nearing the end of my grad degree and, as a result, am pretty consumed with an insane amount of paper writing as well as fulfilling my field education hours. Thus, my pursuit of a more epic okcupid profile will continue to be put on the back-burner for the time being. Silly priorities, always getting in the way of accomplishing the really important things in life such as awkwardly answering questions on dating site profiles :).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently in my second-to-last semester of graduate school getting my masters in social work. I plan on going into counseling/group facilitation with my degree, either at a nonprofit or in an inpatient setting. I am a former filmmaker, and I oftentimes miss that (note: I miss it quite a bit). It is still something I plan on pursuing as a hobby, and filming and video editing are something that I am still extraordinarily passionate about.

I also am doing a lot of watching Netflix, does that count as something I'm doing with my life? Surely it does, talk about productivity. Don't you judge me okcupid.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm good at word games (i.e crossword puzzles, anagrams, etc). I used to want to be a writer, so I'm pretty good with the written word (or at least I'd like to believe that).

I'd also like to believe that I'm pretty good at being compassionate. I know that seems like an odd thing to list "being good at", but I use the word 'good' purely because cultivating and maintaining a strong sense of compassion is something that I have spent a lot of time into making a daily practice.

On a more random note, I got second place in a yo-yo competition when I was about eleven; yeah, that's right, I used to have some pretty sweet yo-yoing skills.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I talk very fast, some might argue impressively fast. Of course, I'm working on that. Because, you know, rumor has it that being understood is ideal.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
This question makes me want to reevaluate my entire life. I will get back to you regarding this answer.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The fact that I spend far too much thinking in general. True story. I am pretty existential by nature, so I often get stuck on certain thoughts. I would like to work on that, because getting stuck on a thought is not really the root of productivity.

Purpose is significant to me, and a lot of my thoughts tend to drift towards how I can best obtain that purpose and meaning that I so deeply desire.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I am probably doing whatever strikes my fancy at the present moment. This could easily involve watching Netflix...Netflix and I have a very special and close bond.

Lately, I have been writing a lot of papers for grad school on Friday nights. I know, extraordinarily exciting.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
At my core, I am certainly a romantic. For many acquaintances who know me casually, that might come as a definite surprise. I'm a complicated snowflake.

Oh, and also, I sometimes struggle to live in the present moment. I have a propensity to sometimes either focus on the past or get caught up in hypotheticals involving the future. I'll admit to that.

It could just be the start of something beautiful, you never know.
