I am friendly, loveable, and inquisitive.

My Self-Summary

I'm awkward. I stopped pretending to be normal because no one believed I was normal. Nobody is normal because normalcy is bliss. It's like perfection - a vague idea that doesn't mean shit; it's a flawed concept.

Other than that, I'm a down-to-earth and honest guy who's looking for the same. There are not enough genuinely good people in this world anymore, but I know there are some of you guys left. Hopefully I'll be lucky and find one of you :-)

As I've grown older, I've come to realize that there are fewer and fewer genuinely nice guys anymore. I feel like every time I go into a gay bar or club everyone's just looking for someone to bring home for the night. I can't do that; it's not my nature. But, there is hope because I know that chivalry and niceness still exist.

I'm looking for a guy who has principles, who can show he cares about me without shouting it from the top of Mt. Everest, and who can stand up for himself in a fight. Intelligence is a huge turn-on, and I appreciate a guy who's opinionated (like me) because it shows that he can stand his ground. I've been told I'm a hopeless romantic. Romantic, yes, but hopeless - I think not.

What I’m doing with my life

I just graduated from college, so I've started to brace myself for the real world. I'm taking a year or two off (hopefully just one), and THEN I'll apply to graduate schools.

I’m really good at

From what my friends have said, I'm a great and caring friend and a good listener. Apparently I'm also good at giving hugs (hence one of my many nicknames, "Bear"). I'm also a good cuddler and spooner ;-)

The first things people usually notice about me

My eyes and my smile.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I don't usually read for leisure, but I love watching movies. I just saw Gran Torino and Milk; they were both awesome! When it comes to music, I'll listen to almost anything EXCEPT country (eww). Food is the one vice that I could never ever give up. I love Italian and Asian food.

The six things I could never do without

Friends
Family
Happiness
My Nissan
Cell Phone
Learning

I spend a lot of time thinking about

The spectrum of thought never ends.

On a typical Friday night I am

Usually I'm at a bar, but bars get so old so quickly! If I'm not there I'm having a low-key night with friends. I also love live music (as long as it's good lol).

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

You'll find out eventually ;-)

You should message me if

You're looking for a friendship or relationship, and NOT a hook-up. As much as I love sex, I still have class and self-restraint, and you should too :-)
