My name is Dustin. I originally started out here for the tests, but I've stayed for the good company.

About me? I'm pretty inquisitive, so I tend to always seek out new things to learn. Keeps things interesting. I really enjoy learning small smatterings of languages, though never enough to speak any very well. I'm willing to try new things.

Also, I have a notoriously vocal inner monologue, and my friends have gotten quite the odd answer as to what I'm smiling about. I've been told I have a very odd sense of humor, and it takes some people a long time to recognize when I'm joking, or why it's so funny to me.

There's nothing too serious to laugh about.

Right now I'm the motion capture technical director for a video game company, doing mocap on several different projects. I've done work for Stubbs the Zombie, Prey, Bioshock, and Human Weapon. ALso, I did the mocap for Gnomeo & Juliet. I even acted for Stubbs and Spider-Man 3 the game. Overall I enjoy my job - I get to be technical but at the same time creative.

I've also been doing theatre as of late. I got inducted into stage acting by a friend a year back to help fill in a part. Never acted before in my life! The Last Days of Judas Iscariot was the last production I was in, and that was awesome.

In my leisure time I like to watch movies or work on projects. I have a close group of friends who I hang out with, too. Sometimes I go down to the Willowbrook Ballroom on Sunday nights and swing dance. Green Dolphin and Franky's Blue Room also have swing, but it's in the middle of the week, and the dance floors aren't as luxurious (read: big) as Willowbrook's.

Making my friends laugh, Remembering useless facts, Swing dancing, Drawing, Rollerblading, Skiing, and Games.

Hard to say. People hardly ever point and shout "Hey, look at that guy! He's ________."

However, that said, I've received the phrase "You smell nice" much more often than I would expect. Almost equally, it comes from guys and gals. Not sure what to make of it.

Books: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Quo Vadis, Sword of Truth series, Call of the Wild, Hyperion, and just about anything by Michael Crichton or Michael Stackpole.

Films: Star Wars, The Incredibles, Donnie Darko, Monster's Inc, the Matrix, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Phantom of the Opera, Edward Scissorhands, Iron Man.

Music: Green Day, Rammstein, John Williams, Danny Elfman, The Gina Knight Orchestra, The Beatles, The Love Dogs, The Brian Setzer Orchestra, Nightwish, Dr. Zoot, The Trans Siberian Orchestra, the Boomtown Rats, Cirque du Soleil. Honestly I'll probably listen to anything but rap and country.

Foods: Prime Rib, Pumpkin Pie, Double-Baked Potato, Snow Crab Legs, Nerds Ropes, Cranberries, Tea.

Television: Arrested Development, Malcolm in the Middle, Lost, Heroes, Fringe, Dollhouse, Firefly, Futurama, Doctor Who, The Venture Brothers, The Walking Dead, MythBusters.

Aside from the obvious of family and friends that everyone answers...

Pen & Paper, Computer, Good Books, Music, Some Favorite Internal Organs, and Cameras.

Like I said, my mind always seeks out new things, so what I spend time thinking about varies wildly. Here's some recent thoughts: Time travel, what to eat for dinner, writing a book, what it would take for global domination, what would make a good photo shoot, transhumanism, would a chinchilla make a good pet, hilarious uses for nanotechnology.

Hanging out with friends. Maybe hit the Fox & Hound. Movies, games, or some random excursion.

I'm allergic to kiwis. The fruit, not the bird. Well, maybe the bird. I've never gotten too close to one to find out. Now I wonder if I am. Anyways, they're rather interesting creatures. I think I'd like to see if I couldn't form a bond with one. That's an idea, try to form a bond with a kiwi whilst discovering if I'm allergic at the same time. Two birds with one stone!
