My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Honest person looking for someone to enjoy life with. I've been told I've got a good sense of humour, and that I have the ability to make people laugh. Been living in England now for 12 years. Moved here from Belfast so I still have some of my Irish charm.

Play some sports to try and keep fit. Not a gym person, and prefer going walking to running on a machine any day. Update on the keep fit side. I've lost a stone in weight so am feeling better about myself ha ha.

I love phototography. I like to take photos as I find it relaxing. Am better with places than people, but then maybe someone could be my muse.

Have traveled about a little in the last 3 years. Been to Germany, Romania, Caribbean, USA. Would love to go east and visit my friends out in Australia and New Zealand. Maybe one day.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working Mon to Friday. It pays the rent amongst other things.

In my freetime I like going to concerts. I have set myself a rule to go to at least 1 gig every month this year. So far I have up to April booked out.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Talking - comes in useful for my job ha ha. I love the art of conversation. I'm probably to open at times, but as the old Irish saying goes a stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet.

Listening - I don't just like to hear my own voice, honest. I am a good listener, and am there for my friends when needed.

Cooking - From my early days as a student I had to learn to cook or starve (fast food gets really boring after a while). although not trained I know my way round a kitchen and enjoy trying to cook something new.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When they hear me speak they hear my Belfast accent ha ha
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I generally read books that are Sci-Fi or Horror. Occasionally read autobiographies, but not of Zelebs. I like to read about people who actually did things and are not famous for being famous.

Movies - I am a movie buff. My favourite films are in no particular order. The Third Man, The Day the Earth Stood (original), Nikita, Highlander (1st one), Die Hard, Battle Royale, The Killer, Star Wars - original 3.

Music - Am a child of the 70/80's so there are many memories from that time. Bands are Rival Sons, The Answer, SLF, Hothouse Flower, Rush, Dream Theater, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Buena Vista Social Club.

Food - I am adventurous and will try culinary food from anywhere in the world.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My friends, family, humour, music, my computer, and a good cup of tea.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Just remember that you're standing on a planet that's evolving
And revolving at nine hundred miles an hour,
That's orbiting at nineteen miles a second, so it's reckoned,
A sun that is the source of all our power.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
flopped out in front of the telly, or out with a friends having a drink and a laugh.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I used to like Chris de Burgh when I was a teenager. Oh the shame, the shame. Have wised up considerably since then (or at least I hope so).

you want to meet an honest nice bloke. I think this quote sums me up - to those that understand I extend my hand, to the rest I demand take me as I am.
