My self-summary
I am really quiet around people I don't really know, but when I'm with my friends, I love to just goof off and act silly. I love to hear new jokes, even if they are corny.

I work at a mobile game developer. If you have an iOS or Android device, maybe you've played a game I've worked on! :) My career is very important to me. I'm not a workaholic or anything but I just work as much as I need to, though sometimes that means long hours.

I didn't used to go out that much, but as of late, I find myself hanging out with friends and doing new stuff more often. Sometimes we just find a random event and check it out the day-of or watch a movie we've never heard of. Sometimes that turns out to be a great idea, and other times it doesn't, but at least we had the experience. And that in itself is pretty fun.

I prefer hanging out with some good friends at someone's house, just chatting or playing some board games to hanging out in a bar or club or something. I just don't really like having loud music pumping in my ears and having to yell to talk to someone. Other than that, though, I enjoy going to theme parks a lot (Disneyland!) and catching the occasional concert or musical or whatever. Hiking is nice every once in a while. I'm open to do something new if a friend asks me to, though... depending what it is, of course. I probably won't go rob a bank... even if you ask REAL nice.

I guess I'll throw something in about dogs too... cuz they are so cute and I love em! I can't help but go 'Awwwwww' when I see a cute dog walk by. I have a dog named Yuna, but she lives with my parents because my condo only allows small dogs, and she's kind of medium sized. She probably likes being at my parents' place more anyway because they have a yard... and she gets to hang out with their dog, Cookie. But yea... she's the best and I go see her whenever I get the chance!

Oh yea... One final note. In the spirit of truthfulness, I'm more like 5' 7.5", but I can't enter decimals so I rounded up. Hope that fraction of an inch isn't a deal breaker! But if it is... Don't worry, I understand. :P
What I’m doing with my life
Something outside of work that I do regularly is train in martial arts. It's more for exercise and building mental awareness than wanting to know how to fight (but that's not bad either!), but I really enjoy it.

I decided to try out Tough Mudder this year. Probably a bad idea since I absolutely hate running, but what the heck, right? I'm currently training for that as well. I guess we'll see if it pays off in June!
I’m really good at
Watching movies. Yea, I'm definitely a pro at that since I can sit through almost anything. My friends always roll their eyes after we see a movie they didn't like and I say I thought it was decent. I also always watch all the way through the credits. Not only because sometimes there's a bonus scene afterward, but also because I believe people who busted their butts making this for people to enjoy should at be recognized by at least letting their names pass before the audience's eyes. My friends are used to it now, but sometimes I feel bad when I'm watching a movie with someone new and they want to get out of there. Sometimes, if it's really late, I skip out and read the credits online at home.
The first things people usually notice about me
I guess a lot of people think I look super young. So maybe that? Not sure... Maybe you can tell me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - Currently reading a making-of/art book for Avatar: The Last Airbender. Love that show and love the art in it! I'm always really interested in behind-the-scenes type stuff. I always make sure to watch all the special features on my DVDs and Blurays as well!
I read the blog that was the inspiration for the Korean movie 'My Sassy Girl' (or at least as much of it that's translated) and I absolutely loved it! It made me want to watch the movie again... so I did, right after I finished reading! And yea... that movie is great.

Movies - My theory on movies is if I had fun at the movie, then it's good. By this logic, I give movies like Thankskilling a thumbs up. Here are some of my favorites: The Dark Knight, Black Hawk Down, Batman Begins, Transformers, The Rock, and The Avengers. I generally like action and horror movies a lot, but sometimes I am in the mood for something romantic too. Still, though, I can appreciate a movie with all style and no substance just as much as the other way around (and sometimes even more). I love the 'Golden Age' Disney movies to bits, but they've been hit-or-miss lately. Still, I'm a Disney fan for life!

Music - I love country music! Yea... an Asian who likes country. I know that's kinda strange, but we do exist! Carrie Underwood, and Brad Paisley are my favorites. I also listen to a lot of movie soundtracks. Hans Zimmer is one of my favorite composers. Last thing on this point... I got (back) into Korean pop a while ago and I listen to a lot of bubble gummy, poppy K-pop... It's a little embarrassing admitting who my favorites are, though...

Food - Sushi/Sashimi and steak are two of my favorites. I also really like chicken. Oh! And Korean food is delish! There aren't many foods I'll flat out say 'No' to... maybe something covered with ginger?

Video Games - I know it doesn't ask for this, but since I do love me some games, I guess I'll put some of my favorites: Batman - Arkham City, Chrono Trigger, Kingdom Hearts II, Resident Evil 4.
The six things I could never do without
-Family
-Friends
-My dogs!
-Internet
-Video Games
-Movies
I spend a lot of time thinking about
-How to be more outgoing...
-How to advance my career.
-My 'future' in general.
-Does this profile actually represent who I am?
-Am I writing way too much?
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably something with my friends. The usual things are eating out, then catching whatever hot movie just released. Sometimes we mix it up by catching a concert or maybe making it a board game night at someone's house. Those usually last until the wee hours of the morning, but boy, are they fun! And then sometimes, when everyone's busy, I just relax at home and watch a DVD (or BluRay!) or play a video game. It's always good to just unwind from the week!

Watching foreign movies on Netflix has been a recent favorite thing to do in my free time. Typically Chinese or Korean movies.

You should message me if
I don't want to limit anyone by saying something like 'Only send me a message if', so I'll just list here some things that I'd consider pluses.
-You don't take everything too seriously
-You're looking for someone to have random conversations with. Including super important questions like 'What super power would you rather have: Invisibility or Flight?'
-You like to play games (not the 'drama'-type games... but FUN games). Board games, card games, video games, etc, etc!
-You're independent enough to stand on your own, but don't mind asking for help when you need it.
-You think the Mario Kart Love Song by Sam Hart is super romantic.

-You are looking for a serious relationship, but don't mind taking it slow, getting to know each other, and having fun!

But most importantly, you should send me a message if... you want to! Simple!
