Can I say I come with references? If nothing else, I have quite a few friends who shared a little about me with you!

Living the dream! I am a full-time parent to my 15 1/2 year old daughter. After an intense year of classes, I've decided to take the summer quarter off from school to have some fun, work on some home projects, reinstate my workout routine, and read a few good books by the pool.

I have to point out that I didn't list my job or income for my own reasons. That information is open for discussion. However, for the sake of this site and to give you some insight to my situation: I am financially independent. I own my own home about a mile north of La Cueva High School, it is tastefully decorated, and much like myself, it is always a work in progress. My home is clean, clutter free, but lived in. I purchased it a year ago. I own my vehicle, I clean it every other week and I park it in the garage. I have good credit and my school loans are my only debt. My bills are all paid on time, in full, without fail. My point? Well, if you aren't reading between the lines, ask me and I will be happy to explain.

Being interdependent, open-minded, tolerant, listening, understanding, forgiving, apologizing, reciprocity, enjoying and appreciating my blessings.

I am totally open to new experiences! Life is short and we need to fully enjoy the time we have. Interested in trying something new? Count me in! I am curious about how and why things work, I have an appreciation for all that is beautiful, including art and music. Yes, this girl likes her fluff!

I am conscientious of whatever I do. Don't confuse this with being OCD, rather meticulous and organized. I am thoughtful, considerate, efficient, and dependable.

I am an outgoing and social person. I love talking to anyone and everyone; I find people's life stories to be fascinating. I am an assertive person, don't confuse this with aggressive! I am also goal-oriented. I know what I want and I know how to get from point A to point B. If I don't know how, I will find a way to make it happen.

I am friendly, kind, affectionate, altruistic, compassionate and receptive. I believe in cooperation, equity, reciprocity and partnerships. There is always a win-win opportunity! I also know how to say I'm sorry and that I was mistaken or even wrong.

I am confident and secure in who I am as a person and my life goals. I'm quite level with my emotional waves. I don't have the highs and lows many women have. Don't get me wrong, I do have my moments, but I can recognize when I am and I don't have trouble acknowledging or recognizing when I do so that I can take a time out for myself.

There are lots of other things about me. Perhaps you'll get the opportunity to get to know me.

My smile, my smiling eyes, and how comfortable they feel talking to me. (This should help in my chosen profession!)

I love to read. Right now I read a lot of journal articles. But favorites? I don't know... I loved the Jim Butcher series, maybe I will read them again. I'm a huge Netflix fan! I always have some series I'm watching. I love and have an eclectic taste in music. I found this great radio station 103.3, called Ed FM, which plays a great variety of music. I really enjoy red wine and sashimi and I love to watch the sun rise and sun set from my rooftop patio.

Other than the obvious food, water, air, gravity?

Why those who haven't been married or who haven't had children just don't get it. I'm sure there are exceptions, but for the most part... Please, prove me wrong?

Having pizza and movie night with my daughter! However, I am open to change! My girl seems to be less interested in chilling with mom these past few weeks... I remember when I was her age. Ha!

Gosh, I don't know. I think the questions this site asks are quite personal... have you seen some of them? Yikes!!!

I am genuine and open-minded. You have not met anyone like me, this I promise. The rest you will have to find out on your own!

You think you are that terrific guy that makes my body temp rise when he looks at me, my skin tingle when he touches me, my heart race when he says my name, and my brain stop working when he kisses me.

I'm not looking for a free ride, rather a partner to move forward and experience life with. If you value committed relationships and the benefits that accompany them and you are also interested in taking the time to allow things to develop.

Disclaimer: Please don't confuse my relationship values with a needy or bunny boiler personality type. Let me be very clear. I am not a booty call, nor am I looking for a friend with benefits or casual sex. I really am looking for someone to have something more serious with who is close to my age. I was married for twenty years and I know what it means and what it takes to be a partner. I won't play second fiddle and I am not your mother. So, please don't go there. I do not want or need a long distance thing. I would like to just relax into a relationship over time with someone local because we choose to be together not because we need to.
