hope to retire in the very near future.... i am just ready to relax and enjoy the care free life... i love to travel and plan on going to all the places i have not seen yet but wanted to go to... and to travel back to places i visited years ago...

i enjoy the outdoors hiking... walking along the beach...reading a good book... going out to dinner... just having a great conversation...

already tired of doing this... so i will get back to you.. well i am back to finish what i started. if you are the type of person that hates boxes and talking about yourself then that is a plus in my book.

i have lived over seas for several years and i am both outgoing adventurous and adaptable. i have traveled all over Europe and North Africa between years at university and have been back several time. I lived in Brazil for five years and enjoyed it very much. i hope to travel with a companion who will also enjoy what the world has to offer.

well right now i am doing all that needs to be done so i can retire..the stock market is not making that all too easy but i have been blessed in many way.

besides Money has never been the most important thing in my life.

At this time i am looking to find the perfect women that can make my life complete.

i think the first date should be casual perhaps just coffee or a movie and then coffee and desert... i would want to allow the person i am with the opportunity to escape if she feels there is no connection at all. But also provide the setting so SHE can learn about me and what i might offer Her.

to me the perfect first date would be one in which we were both so engaged in conversation that we lost tract of time. when we do pause to look at the clock we laugh because we both thought it was 10:00 pm rather than 1:00am

making people laugh... telling stories... helping people to relax

..i am also a very good listener...

over the years i have perfected the art of foot massage AND CAN HOLD MY OWN IN THE KITCHEN at least for cookies and desserts.

this is a difficult question.... there are so many authors that i love... Cormac McCarthy, Dostoevsky, Mark Twain, Margaret Atwood, Joyce Carrol Oats, Nietzsche, David Horowitz, Marcel Proust, Virginia Woolf, D.H. Lawrence....William Faulkner... and then Joseph Conrad and Scott Fitzgerald, Langston Hughes, Maya Angelau..did you know she was great dancer in her younger days.... and this does not mention any of my favorite poets... all the great Russian poets from both the silver age and the golden age. then the book, The unbearable lightness of being by Kundara

again this is some what of a difficult question...

When i am reading a book i will often become engaged in what the author is writing...but i often think of my children and how they are doing... and what i want to be doing next year....
where i want to be.... the beach in northern Peru....or going to south east Asia which i have never been too... or do i just stay in the states and investigate the national parks i have not seen yet...

i might also be thinking about what i look for in a companion.
which would include:
a women that enjoys life.... that wants to travel.. a women that can feel comfortable taking the Trans Siberian railroad from St Petersburg to the east... into China.. a women that likes to dress up for dinner at a fancy restaurant in Paris but is also comfortable in a T shirt and shorts if we walk the beach in northern Peru or Cape Cod.

a women that is passionate but kind. a women that wants to be treated special and knows SHE is special... a women that likes to take control but is not controlling... well if She is the right women She will automatically and naturally take control.

a women that is honest and can communicate what she is thinking.... a women not afraid to try news things....

a women that is young at heart... adventurous ... modest and elegant in public but passionate in the bedroom...and not afraid to experiment and to role play...

a women that wants her man to take care of her.... protect her and provide the comforts She deserves...
