My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, I'm Rob and I never have a clue what to write on these things. I would describe myself as a bit of goth but my days of wearing ridiculous boots and eyeliner are pretty much behind me.
I enjoy going to rock and goth gigs and frequently go to festivals.
My music tastes are quite wide, I like Goth, Rock, Industrial, Blues, Electro Pop, Classical (although not piano concertos, I was scarred as child by Rachmaninoff's concerto No.3, I think the feeling has only just come back in legs) in fact most music apart from improvised Jazz and pop.
My hobbies include cooking, which I'm told I'm good at but not sure if that's just a ploy by my friends to keep the free meals flowing.
I'm quite interested in politics, my views are generally slightly right of centre. That's to say smaller government, individual responsibility as opposed pseudo patriots who think if you can't trace your lineage back to the Picts you should be held in a camp.
I'm told I'm quite witty and have a self deprecating sense of humour.
I enjoy watching films and t.v. shows with political, fantasy, Sci-Fi and crime themes such as JFK, The Departed, Game of Thrones (Not exactly original) and Battlestar Galactica.
I view myself as a very honest person and if you have any questions please feel free to ask.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm in the process of setting up my own business. I plan to open a chocolate, coffee, gifts and cards shop in Sheffield.
I go to a pub quiz most Wednesday nights and normally go to the pub at least one other night.
The rest of my time is spent visiting/ meeting with friends or going to gigs.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Having a good old debate
Remembering obscure pieces of information for quizzes
Choosing wine and beer for a meal
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My long hair or that I keep touching the bridge of my nose if I'm wearing contact lenses as I normally wear glasses and keep forgetting they're not there.
