My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am generally pretty straightforward. I'm a movie snob, a music dabbler, and a cuisine enthusiast (but who doesn't like a good meal?). I admit I'm kind of quiet initially...I take a little while to open up. But sure enough I can show my bright side pretty quick--as goofy as it may be.

I work in marine logistics. The big ships and container yards you see at the Port of Newark...that is my wheelhouse. It's not finance (I'm a Lehman expat); it's not law, medicine, or "marketing"; but it's fast paced and real and I love it.

As I close my twenties, I am secure with where I've come from and excited about where I'm going. I'm looking now to find an important piece of the puzzle.

This isn't what I initially had in mind (like a lot of you), but when it comes to meeting people, just diversifying.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Pier Superintendent at a container terminal in NJ.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being modest...ironically (disclaimer: not sure if this qualifies as ironic...like Alanis, never mastered this word).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When I introduce myself and tell someone my name, I often get: "Oh yeah, like Ross from Friends..."

Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: The Tender Bar, Street Freak
Movies: The Big Lebowski, Donnie Darko, Into the Wild, 21 Grams
Shows: Shameless

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Craft beer, iPhone, Spotify, Avocado, Exercise, Sleep..
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My mind is always running, sometimes even ruminating. I usually try to focus on the present, but it's easier said than done. Often backfires.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out in Hoboken or Manhattan; I should try Brooklyn but haven't ventured there really. Often at Keen's enjoying a steak for someone's birthday as it has turned out, and then "celebrating" after.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I enjoy watching sitcoms from the previous decade (think Everybody Loves Raymond, King of Queens) more than I'd like to..

...it behooves you. You have nothing to lose, and everything to gain (so much for modesty).
