My Self-Summary

I am a recent graduate of Boston University living now in Brighton, MA. I do fire hoop, spin poi, and occasionally have been known to breathe fire. I like reading, walking, biking, energy work, spending time with friends, and making stuff. I work at Eureka! puzzles and games, for the state doing home care for a quadriplegic gentleman who needs assistance, and as a part-time nanny for a 4 year old. I value my independence and like to keep people around me who are positive and don't fuck with my sense of self. I like positive reinforcement, giving and receiving, as well as positive energy.

I'm a bouncing ball of pluripotent potential, ready to do almost anything at a moment's notice, once the activity suggests itself. I love picking up new hobbies or interests and you'd have a difficult time finding a topic I don't have any interest in (except perhaps for sports stats...)

What I’m doing with my life

Working, living, loving, learning. Like previously mentioned, I'm working the three jobs. I'm also contemplating massage school and focusing more on my spiritual side with energy work such as Reiki and exploring possible options for a religion that fits with my experiences. I like to sing. I'm not currently doing any professional vocal work, but music is very important to me.

are varied.

I like fiction books, including but not limited to sci fi and fantasy and how-to's and travelogues and autobiographies (The Alchemist, Dune, Dragonriders of pern, Book of Swords, The prophet, anything by Neil Gaiman, Mary Stewat's Crystal Cave series...) I don't like horror and for some reason can't get into reading mystery novels.

I like good movies, but once again not horror. Like: Star Trek, Star Wars, Amelie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Everything is Illuminated, Robin Hood, LOTR, Dogma, list goes on an on.

I have an open mind when it comes to music. I like music that doesn't make my head hurt too much.
I like almost all foods, except for the spicy ones.

The six things I could never do without

Myself... a good pair of shoes, a water bottle, a good book, food, and love.

On a typical Friday night I am

What's this "typical" of which you speak? This Friday night I'm helping a quadriplegic man with his nighttime routine, and the next one I'll be in Connecticut spinning fire, and the last one I was curled up on the couch with a good book, and the one before that I spent at Burning Man.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I sometimes wear hats that are far too big for my head.

Also, when I get really bored I sometimes browse craigslist and pick up crazy gigs - like catering for medieval birthday parties.
