I'm an outgoing,fun loving chap,who works hard, and enjoys spare time to relax,and enjoy many hobbies including classic cars, art, and scale modelling,I enjoy writing articles for a scale modelling magazine,and have had models featured on many covers.
I enjoy repairing and restoring old broken things,and am interested in history.In the summer I like to drive my replica Porsche Speedster 356 to different cars shows around the countryside roads,and along the coast with the top permanantly down(weather permitting!).
I did a course in airbrush painting recently and enjoy painting , as well as most things creative.
I enjoy playing games on the games consols with my daughter when she visits and badminton in the garden in the summer.
Metal detecting is also something I wish to do a bit more of ,as well as radio controlled aircraft flying which is not easy!, as you can tell I do all sorts of things but would love to share some of these activities with someone special.

I am kind, reliable, and faithful

Since my divorce last year, I have been working hard, and not really enjoying life much as I would like, as I need to share some quality time with someone special ,and to relax .
I had 10 years of bad experience in a failed marraige which left me feeling that there was no one I could trust anymore,and almost forgot how to laugh!.I also was made redundant last September but have a new job which is stretching my field of knowlege and expertise and so am looking forward to new beginnings in most areas of my life.
I continue to learn new things ,improve my expertise in my hobbies,and am optimistic about finding my "soul mate" hopefully in the near future.

I like to think that I am a happy friendly person,who can make people laugh,and I dont take myself too seriously.
My scale modelling is my best talent ,and I paint scale figurines to international competition standard,and have demonstrated airbrushing to people at many model shows,and have a DVD on sale world wide.
I repair and service my own cars where possible and I assembled and finished my replica PORSCHE 356 SPEEDSTER to roadworthy MOTed condition and have maintained it for 19 years.
On a lighter note I love having fun and a laugh and do impressions!!, including all sorts of daft characters!!

Probalby the first thing people notice is that I'm very friendly,and can talk the "hind legs off a donkey"!!, but some of this is nerves, some is my natural need to communicate and make someone feel at ease.
I am usually a good time keeper, except when circumstances dont allow ,bad weather /traffic etc.
I am young for my age in my ways,and some say I look younger too,which is fair enough for me!

I like factual books, about history,paranormal,and photographic books of times past, and biographies of people I find interesting.
I love old comedy films in black and white such as The Marx Bros,abbot and Costello etc.,as well as the Back to The Future films,Indiana Jones,and all sorts of other types of films.
Music wise ,I love everything from Glenn Miller, to Paolo Nutini, this includes 50s rock n roll, 60s,70s(including punk but not disco) 80s,90s,and noughties, there is so much I like so difficult to list but dont like disco,jazz,or euro pop type stuff.
I love sunday roast,chinese, italian,tai,and all sorts of food except most fish,salad,and cabbage!

My health, my family, my eyesight, my sense of humour, my hobbies,my optimism

Meeting someone who makes me feel glad to be alive,and that accepts me for who I am "warts and all",and someone who likes similar things to me who I dont have to worry if I please them who will show their true feelings.
I think about the greater meaning of why we are all here,and why people fight about religion which was created long after the first life on this planet was already extinct (i.e.the Dinosaurs)
I think how bad it is that footballers command massive wages while doctors and nurses etc. who are far more important to society get paid peanuts!
I am romantic,and often look at the stars and wonder what is really out there!

I dont usually do much as I moved from Kent to Sussex,and dont have many proper friends in this area, and so just vegetate infront of the TV or do some painting.but during summer maybe work on my cars.
I would get out more if I had someone to share nights out with .

I am basically very shy ,but put up a front by being the opposite,its really annoying as I'm really a quiet person.
I am bad at chat up lines,and feel stupid using them,as I feel I have to be sincere,and despite paying compliments,I cant force myself to use cheesy one liners.

You like what I have written about myself,and find me attractive for who I am ,and not for what you could alter me to.
If you have a friendly warm personality,and a really good/zany sense of humour,and like Spike Milligan,and Tommy Cooper type humour.
You must be understanding and compassionate,with a romantic nature,and be young in your outlook,and optmistic about most things.
I would never force someone to like my hobbies,but scale modelling and classic cars are important to me and made me who I am to a large degree,and so it would be nice to meet somone who appreciates art etc.
