My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm Ryan. I'm always looking for the next adventure in life. I recently moved to the KC area from Alabama for a job promotion.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am currently a field research manager for a commercial real estate company based out of Independence. I graduated with dual majors in Marine Biology and Philosophy and loved them both but didn't want to take out loans for grad school (plus there isn't a whole lot of salt water around the KC area)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm great at enjoying the world around me whether it is snorkeling at the beach, hiking in the mountains, or having a lazy weekend hanging in my hammock soaking up some sun. I like to go running when it isn't too terribly hot. I have a keen eye for detail and live my life in organized chaos. I used to work as an aquarist for a children's museum and would like to start a new saltwater aquarium once I get settled in here.
The first things people usually notice about me

I'm quiet until I get a feel for people. You learn more by listening.

TV: Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Archer, Parks and Rec, National Geographic Documentaries, Trailer Park Boys, The Wire, Boardwalk Empire, South Park,

Food: Sushi, fresh caught saltwater fish grilled with lemon and seasoning, pesto based pizzas, steak (anything past medium rare may as well be leather), beer (IPAs), whiskey on the rocks, my mom's chicken casserole, anything spicy (I have a slight hot sauce obsession), a fresh Caesar salad
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The Great Outdoors
College Football
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My mind drifts all over the place. I enjoy thinking about things such as; evolutionary ecology, politics, philosophy of morality, how I would survive a zombie apocalypse, etc.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
With friends either chilling, out at the bars, or camping.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I went to a private school, I've seen the movie Private Parts, I have private parts, I've never been a private in the army, sometimes I go to private properties, I believe privacy is essential to a free society, I don't think I've ever been followed by a private eye, you are now privy to my privacy.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You enjoy being outdoors, you like deep conversations, your favorite animal is a sea otter or penguin, you don't take yourself too seriously, if you think the journey is more meaningful than the destination, or if you're an adventurer.
