I believe in honesty & communication (by the second date you will know the basic good, the bad and the ugly about me - I believe that keeping big shocking surprises back just wastes both of our time); and that "True Love" absolutely needs both parts to work - the "Truth" and the "Love". I think that one of the things needed to make any relationship work is Forgiveness (and that forgiveness is born out of empathy), as well as the ability to truly not sweat the little things; to not focus on the past but to live in "The Now" while planning for (not necessarily worrying about) the future.

Physically: I am around 6' tall, and usually a burly 260 or so. I have dark blond hair, blue-grey eyes and dimples when I smile.

Creating Stuff - whether it be writing (I am a published writer & poet), drawing/painting, design, growing things, cooking, breeding great dogs, making things in wood or metal, photography, or videography.
I can fix just about anything(except maybe a broken heart), but my to-do lists these days seem almost endless.
I am intelligent and can almost always hold a decent conversation on many different subjects - but though I may know quite a bit, I am try to be always willing to admit when I am wrong.
I am a very physically passionate man, who is sexual & extremely open-minded and has a willingness to explore your innermost desires, while not inflicting anything unwanted upon you.

Well, I guess you would get the best answer if you asked them - not me.
(Am I really 'sposed to know the answer to this? - and I imagine what you first noticed about me might depend on whether I just passed you in a flash of red on the freeway, you just cut me off in traffic, maybe met me in the line at the bank, or even on a first date)

But I do know (from their comments) that most notice my beard, and then would predict that they would notice my smile (complete with dimples), my eyes, and maybe my sense of humor - after conversing with me for a bit they may start to notice that I have a robust sense of humor, that I am smart (but not the "know-it-all" type), and a decent listener.
Then - after they get to really know me they would discover that I am kind, giving, courteous, forgiving, and emotionally truthful; in addition to being an honest & honorable man, and maybe just a wee bit nasty & kinky (but only when it is appropriate).

I will read well, read quickly and will read just about anything - as long as it is a "good read"; I love books that teach me new things; either about the world, about others, or about myself. I love historical books & books that teach how to do something new or something better. I like non-fiction & fiction, action-adventure, mysteries, sci-fi & fantasy, any decent novel, or even a good short story or essay. Some of my favorite novelists/writers are Jeffery Deaver (everything!), S.King ("On Writing" was my favorite, the Dark Towers books a close second), Koontz (like the "Odd" books), Ann Rice, Steven Hawking's books, and so many others I could never list them all.
Movies - I will watch anything that I think is "good", and yes I am not afraid to admit that some movies move me to tears and that they can be among my favorites.
Music - as long as I like it, I will listen to it (duh), but that may not limit itself to a specific genre. I grew up on Southern Rock, Classic Metal & Electric Blues though - and they remain favorites of mine - but I don't mind a lot of country, or old school hip-hop/rap , R&B, Jazz or Classical - there are even a few Operas that I like (OMG!).
Oh yes, I love food - and being raised in Texas, "True BBQ", Tex-Mex and Southern Foods are like mothers milk to me. But I am not limited to that at all (and like most, I have the 46yo waistline that needs a little work as evidence of that - LOL).

I may be in watching Friday Night Fights, or out with a friend, or here on one of my many computers, or trying to catch up on the sleep I missed all week; basically there are no "typical" nights any day of the week.
