I’m an engineer who fell to the pull of the dark side and migrated into corporate sales. I work for a major automotive supplier, which has been good for keeping my blood pressure up lately.
I travel somewhat frequently, mostly for work, but also for pleasure. Salzburg is probably my favorite place on the planet, so far, though a trip anywhere involving a campfire is a close second. A Caribbean cruise, with the right companionship, is nice way to kill off a week and a few brain cells too.
My most consuming hobby is SCUBA diving. I absolutely love shipwrecks. There’s nothing quite like standing on the deck of a ship that sank 150 years ago and imagining it’s last moments. The Great Lakes is an awesome place for that.
World of Warcraft is also something I enjoy. I love the social aspect of the game, getting together with friends, some of whom go back to high school days and are spread across the country, to play.

Quoting movies, making jokes at my own expense, and chatting with friends. I’m also pretty good at brushing my teeth and I can boil a mean cup of water.

People usually mistake me for the quiet guy at first, but that impression doesn’t often last. I find wisdom in the saying “Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.”

Some of my favorite authors are John Grisham, Tom Clancy, John Scalzi, Raymond Feist, Howard Pyle, Michael Crichton, and J.R.R. Tolkien

Listing all of the movies I like would fill up several pages, but some of my favorites are Tombstone, Tommy Boy, Big Trouble in Little China, The Bourne Identity, The Lord of the Rings, The Princess Bride, The Matrix, The Holy Grail, and The Hangover

I enjoy just about every type of music you can put a name to. Pop/rock is my usual fare, but I go for everything from Marilyn Manson to John Lennon, from AC/DC to Cat Stevens, from Aerosmith to Beethoven and The Chieftains.

My favorite food is anything that comes off my grill, especially a good steak or pulled pork, but I also enjoy sushi, Mexican, Thai, Italian, and a great burger.
