I am really looking for a girl who is a bit of a tom-boy. I want to be able to share things with you like stripping down engines, walking up rocky bits of hills, climbing trees, figuring out how to put these extra bits back in the engine, cooking a fantastic bisque, helping me choose my next dog but not until I'm over the last one, might be a few years yet, I hate the thought of having to prove myself, you either love me or you don't. F1 is my only obsession but I enjoy most sport, just for fun. Never gamble, well the odd raffle ticket, I drink alcohol when I want to, usually a Malbec or good Chilean red blend, and don't when I don't want to. Haven't smoked since 2008 and never will again.
What I’m doing with my life
Lots and lots and lots. Never not busy but I can't point at one
thing and say, "That's what I do".
I’m really good at
Lots and lots and lots. My grandkids love me, I just fitted new
doors to their house, decorated their sitting room, re-plastered
their walls, fixed the missing tiles and replaced their shower,
landscaping their garden. Driving.
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't know, you tell me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Have loved science fiction since I was 14, then got into non
fiction when I was 16, then got into academia when I was 18, then
started to read about how the world works when I was 20. After that
I read just about anything. Pratchett, Banks, Rankin, A J P Taylor
to Spike Milligan. 'Sarajevo to Potsdam' or 'Hitler, My part in his
downfall'. Never got into Austin or Du Maurier though. Love
Tarantino, Pulp Fiction is the best. All movies based on Philip k
Dick stories. Shows? Went to a lot when I lived in London, most
were.....ok. Music, been listening to it since I was a kid. 'I want
to be Bobby's girl', my name is Robert, or Rab, or Bob, spent May
2013 clubbing in Ibiza. Food, love cooking, love getting cooked
for. Anything, from a deep fried mars bar to a sweet corn minutes
out the garden, as long as its good.
The six things I could never do without
Having a good time doing whatever I can to make tomorrow better than yesterday.
But yesterday was pretty good. It always is.
Today is my favourite though
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Do I need to worry about sad, worrying things, then deciding "No".
On a typical Friday night I am
In......or.....out.....or, cooking something nice and drinking something nice and watching and/or listening to something nice. Or going to a concert, whatever it is, I would enjoy it more if I spent it with the woman I love.
You should message me if
You want to take the ring to Mordor and we can fight over who is Frodo and who is Sam Gamgee.
