My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey everyone! I'm Rachel. I am a makeup artist full time and recently moved to Waltham. I do work retail hours so my time off is precious to me.

I would say that i am a pretty easy going, everyone says that but really I am. Especially if you just do what I say. I tend to go with the flow and think of things half full. I also love to laugh and try not to take life too seriously. My friends would probably say that I am the person they go to with a problem because I stay very neutral and am never in the drama. I know everyone says that, but its true.

I like to have fun and try new things and visit new places. I love taking day trips or even weekend trips to explore new places. I am a very curious person, some might even say nosy.

Although I am easy going and always up for adventures, I am an unapologetic girly girl. My life revolves around makeup. It is what I do for work. If you don't like a girl who wears lots of makeup and perfume and high heels, then I'm not your girl. I am not the type of girl to ever go camping, I don't feel the need to rough it. I'm not stuck up or in any way high maintenance, I just like to take care of myself and look nice. I enjoy being outside, I like to hike and go to the beach, but I like those things for short periods of time. I would never try to change anyone so don't try and change me!

I am looking for someone to explore with me and who wants to have fun and knows how to unwind without needing to party. I am looking for someone who is confident in who they are and what they are looking for and are willing to take things slowly and not just jump into things, but at the same time are willing to take that first step to meet up! Also, communication is key, if you cannot communicate then it is never going to work because I can be pretty blunt.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working, going to the gym, going to yoga, studying for the GRE, and trying to figure out what is next.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Talking my way out of bad situations. I have talked my way from a D to a B- in a class. I'm also good at making decisions when no one else wants to make one, you don't know how useful that is until you need someone like that.

I'm good at baking and cooking. I am also a great sales person. And being modest.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Most people say that I smell really good. It sometimes can come off as slightly creepy but I don't mind. Also probably my smile and my friendly disposition. Or my curves. Or maybe my glasses.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I have so many favorites its hard to pick!
I love old Hitchcock movies, Harry Potter, musicals, dramas, pretty much anything other than sappy romantic comedies. I love all comedies though, if it will make me laugh, i am happy. If it makes me laugh to the point of tears even better.

My favorite books are probably mysteries, crime dramas, and of course any type of sappy chic-lit.

I love all TV. I am a TV binger. I watch all shows and really don't discriminate.

I pretty much like all music. Especially if I can sing along to it. However, after listening to crappy music all day long at work, I tend to just skip music and listen to podcasts.

I like breakfast food a lot. Surprisingly, I can't stand most pan-Asian foods. No sushi, no Thai, no Japanese, no Indian, once in a blue moon I will have Chinese food though.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Gym shoes
DVR/netflix/hulu (i hate commercials)
reusable water bottles

Obviously family and friends and pets but that's a given and didn't feel like I needed to include it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I will find to watch next on netflix, what book to read next, and where i should go to grad school.

Also, since when did rock climbing become the hot thing to do? Everyone on here climbs, I don't know anyone in real life who does that.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Watching movies or going out to eat with friends or even relaxing at home. Recently I have been going to concerts and exploring new areas of Boston, but I tend to be pretty tired Friday nights from working so unless it is a happy hour, I would rather do things on a saturday night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't like the taste of alcohol, but I will drink wine if I have to.

Also, I am terrible at math even though I taught it to inmates for a while. I'm pretty shameless so I don't have secrets, I just can't show all my cards at once.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You have a good sense of humor and like to laugh. You feel like showing me somewhere or something new and cool. You don't mind the bold lipstick. Or you just want to meet for a tea/coffee/drink. Or really just actually want to meet and not be pen pals!
