My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have surfed from coast to coast in search of ghosts. Cinema Verite ice cream with sprinkles. Music is key. All beats accepted. I'm an addict, and Movies are my drug of choice. Los Angeles is my playground. I am an eclectic explorer of anything new. I'll never turn down an adventure. I've dealt with my share of challenges and come out on the other side better for them. Creating films and music are how I vent all life's frustrations. I believe that heart and passion can guide anyone where they need to be. Simple things amuse me, and the oddest things make me laugh. I am looking for other good natured fun people to make real connections, or just share an adventure.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm in the middle of pursuing my dream. I'm a filmmaker and musician fighting through Hollywood to be one of the few to "make it." I feel very lucky to be able to say that I make a good living doing what I love.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Singing so I've been told, and I can play a mean six string when the occasion calls.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I never thought to ask.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Ahh a very dangerous question to ask a filmmaker. (A-Books) Memoirs of a Geisha [the book], A Song of Ice and Fire, Snowcrash, Citizen of the Galaxy, Harry Potter, H.P. Lovecraft, The Child Thief, Chuck Palahniuk, Kurt Vonnegut, Neil Gaiman, Heinlein, The Ender's Books, The Aubrey Maturin Series, Shakespeare, anything History related. As far as comics/graphic novels go, Walking Dead, Y The Last Man, Fables, and anything written by Alan Moore or Frank Miller. . (B-Movies ooooooh here it comes) Anything by Kurosawa, Labyrinth, Full Metal Jacket, Twelve Monkeys, In America, City of Lost Children, Meet The Feebles, anything by Jean Pierre Jeunet, Gillermo Del Toro, Kubrick, Francis Ford Coppola, John Ford, Billy Wilder, Scorsese, Brian De Palma, all the greats made in the 80s [i.e.vintage Spielberg, Zemeckis, Lucas, Reitman, Hughes,] the greats of the 20s [Pickford, Chaplin, Fairbanks, etc.] and the list goes on and on. (C the soundtrack I live to) dj shadow, Temptations, Magnetic Fields, Cinematic Orchestra, The Decemberists, Daft Punk, Bob Dylan, John Denver,, Jason Mraz, The Who, Beatles, Cake, Radiohead, Aphex Twin, and just about anything good corporate rap excluded. (D) Sushi, and anything with spice.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My eyes (they are my window to understanding this world), a camera, a guitar, (It's a must, every artist needs a canvas), my mind (if I ever become a vegetable just euthanize me), language (To be unable to communicate would be living absolutely alone), and lastly my cell phone (hey I do live in LA)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why the world seems like its starting to closely resemble the movie Idiocracy.

How to stay honest, passionate, un-jaded, and keep my integrity in an industry that encourages deceit.

Why the more technological communication we have at out fingertips the more we feel alone while conversely wondering at the power in a single touch, or handshake.

Why I seem to lose my self preservation mechanism when I have a camera in my hand. The more dangerous the shoot the more I seem to be into it. If you want specifics just ask. =)

Why I think to much.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Looking for an A-typical adventure to find somewhere/something new. At a movie, a play, a concert, an art show or if I'm lucky participating in the creation of any of the above. Or just chilling with good beer, good wine, good peeps, and maybe a boardgame.

You are another artsy, geeky, adventurous soul looking to make a real connection, or just have an idea for a kick-ass adventure. And if you actually want to meet and create relationships that exist in the real world. The internet is fun and all, but I'd rather meet the real you. =)
