My Self-Summary
I'm settling into Ottawa, learning the city and all it has to
offer. Parkdale market, Wakefield, Meech Lake, the Orange Monkey,
my backyard hammock and a fire. I can't wait for summer, everything
is better in summer.
I've recently got back into photography - the good kind - with film - and got my home darkroom up and running. A dream I've had for 7 years. The fridge will soon be covered with pictures
I've done my fair share of travelling and have visited most continents. Once I have some time off, my next big dream trip is to take the train across the Trans-Siberian railway, or hike the Inca trail, but I think camping in Algonquin is a more realistic summer plan.

What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently working at a job I love and don't see myself doing
anything else. It's a decision which has taken me by surprise, but
I love what I do and believe it will create the change we need in
our world.
I’m really good at
somehow caring for and not killing plants, and although my tomato
plants never produced any tomatoes, my avocado plants are doing
quite well!
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Music shapes my life. Listening to live music thrills me.
My job involves a lot of driving, which in turn is a lot of music.
I love dancing to a good funk show, chilling to bluegrass, listening to political beats, or camping at a music festival. My music tastes are broad, but if I like what I hear I tend to only play that for weeks at a time. Six Shooter Records have a great bunch of artists.
My current playlist:
Caledonia, Paper Beat Scissors, Sia, Jenn Grant, Tanya Davis, Michael Cluett
Food:
Sushi - hands down (I've worked in two Japanese/Korean restaurants)
And red licorice
