My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a southern guy (from Williamsburg, VA) who's lived in LA since '05, and I'm still enjoying discovering the fun things this city has to offer. I'm passionate about travel and music, and happily I've landed in a career that involves both, though I'm not on the road for work too often. I'm pretty laid back and try to live by The Golden Rule, and I'm equally excited about a movie on the couch or a big night out. Love being outside in the SoCal weather, and I fit in some biking/hiking/running daily. I'm fortunate to have lived a life full of exciting journeys & destinations, and caring family & friends... and now I'm just looking for the next adventure (and/or a great guy)!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a partner at a media research & consulting company.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
...planning trips to (and navigating) far-off places.

I'm also somewhat good at cooking Thai food, scuba diving, video gaming, playing the piano, dodging LA traffic on my bike, being empathetic, photographing snakes, curating music playlists, and picking up bits of various languages (except, apparently, Spanish, which is embarrassing in LA).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: travel writing, thrillers, fantasy, Sedaris, Flynn, Burroughs, Krakauer... I sadly only seem to read on planes or in the pool.

Movies: I like a bit of everything, but I especially love horror/sci-fi and anything on 3D blu-ray (I collect 'em, which means I own some terrible films).

Music: All about alt-pop-rock... currently loving new tunes from TV on the Radio, the Kooks, Cobra Starship, Kasabian, BANKS, and Night Terrors of 1927.

TV: Walking Dead, Parks & Rec, Survivor, Amazing Race, American Horror Story, Game of Thrones, The Soup, Orphan Black, and Scooby-Doo.

Food: No. Onions. Ever. Everything else is cool! Love to cook, but warn me if you don't like it spicy.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
how I spend too much time thinking.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
crashing on the couch after a business trip or busy week; otherwise I'm out doing dinner/movies/drinks/whatever.
